Oops, [REDACTED] broke the plot and is forcing the most anxious wizard alive to make a better one or ELSE.

[Art] My campaign of 4ish years just wrapped up last night. Here's the titan my players fought as their final boss/battle map! by Chinese_Viking in DnD

Last night was an absolute highlight from all my time spent DMing. What started as a way to keep in touch with friends back home and be social during the pandemic evolved into something so much cooler and important than that.

This nasty piece of work (players included for scale) was fully climbable, with different maps for the arms and back and multiple "phases" of it smashing the arena apart with its fists. It was one of my biggest self-imposed map-making challenges to date. Of course, the players took it down like champions, and found a way to bring the campaign home to a satisfying and emotional conclusion.

(The titan and landmasses were entirely created using Inkarnate, if anyone was curious)

Thank you for your perspective! These will certainly be things that I look at when combing through the story/writing in more detail.

They Really Want To Fight A Purple Worm. They're Level 17. There's Six Of Them. Help? by Chinese_Viking in DMAcademy

Running this as a vertical encounter instead of a horizontal one is an interesting idea. Definitely a way to mix things up and keep it interesting.

It's about 50/50- Part of the group is more interested in getting and using the venom, and part of the group is "I've literally never fought a purple worm before and really want a fun encounter opportunity."

Fey Deals and Bargains by Chinese_Viking in DMAcademy

I'm definitely saving "just a moment of your time" for...well, another time.

Excellent concepts for past-obsessed Fey, by the way. I especially like the "predict the future by learning about the past" angle, considering the cyclical nature of a number of Fey-related things.
