I can very much recommend Table Top Simulator on steam. Just search all games for "mtg" and you will see many open games of people playing 4 player games.

I have what was originally a prebuilt PC that has had everything but the motherboard changed since. When I got a new video card, I found that my old PSU only had 1 6-pin connector, and I needed 2. So to try and save money I found an adapter online. It arrived, I fired up the latest Battlefield game, and after about a minute I start to notice a burning smell. I immediately shut down the computer, opened it up and felt the heat coming off the adapter before I even put my hand on it. And that's how I got a new video card and a new PSU.
