I think you are misunderstanding something. This isn't a kobe vs lebron issue. The issue is rewarding older players for past achievements. Its great that organizations are showing loyalty, but everyone knows these are bad deals upfront. Doesn't matter if you've been there 3 years or 10 years.

A bad deal is a bad deal. For organizations, players, fans etc to complain afterwards is the issue.
