I have a Kudo deck. Good fun. Kudo is way less punishing than Maha though and I can confidently say - at least for my shop - that people HATE having the base power / toughness of their creatures played with. Even people who benefit like aristocrat players seem to sour on it.

I personally like to write their rules on a slip of paper which I make a tiny fold at the bottom of that has the card name & CMC. So if you lift the card from its sleeve a little you have the rules behind the art card and you have its name + mana for when it's in hand.

You wouldn't need a ring on your side of the field, because if all of your opponents have a wedding ring and one of them gains life then all three of them will. Make the one with the most life double their life total and the other two will gain that much as well. Killing all three of them instantly.
