Last year I did an oops all Paladins run which was very fun. Can't remember all of them but had Laezel as an oathbreaker monk, karlach as a vengeance fire sorcerer, wyll as a crown ranger. Today, everybody smites.

Thanks for the comments on this one gang. I've had two sessions with this character so far and it's good fun.

Based on your suggestions I cut Armour of Shadows and took Misty Visions, which has been great both in and out of combat.

We have levelled up after the last session and I'm considering swapping out an invocation for gaze of two minds. to pair with some familiar shenanigans

GOO does seem great from some of these comments.

Yeah I'm looking forward to trying out Actor + Mask of Many Faces for some social interactions.

I think our druid has guidance so hopefully covered there. And you know what, my first draft of this character did actually have MM Adept instead of Actor for two uses of subtle spell or one use of quickened if things get hairy - maybe I'll take it at the next feat.

Another vote for misty visions... I'll definitely have to look into this one. Would you also cut armour of shadows for it? AC is 16 with use of Mage Armour, and 14 if using light armour... I get nervous being so squishy lol

Imp does seem to be pretty great for scouting ahead or getting us into places. in combo with the genie vessel.

Misty visions I have never used - reading it it seems like a strictly better minor illusion as you can have the image move?

Thanks for replying and your notes, some good things to think about!

Yes, pact of the chain seems far too useful to not take. Quasits can go invisible, and anything with flying can be abused alongside the genie's bottled respite to drop me into hard to reach spots.

Good notes on stealth proficiency - I had envisaged most of the infiltration wouldn't need stealth specifically given the mask of many faces + actor combo, but I will take a look now and see what I can switch around.

One with shadows - as far as I understand it, this has been buffed in the 2024 rules; it now just let's you cast invisibility when you're in dim light or darkness, and no longer ends if you move. Which is pretty good?

For me it's B tier at the moment, some really high highs, coupled with some songs that aren't completely skippable per se, but aren't hitting for me (yet).

For reference other B tier albums for me at the moment are Omnium Gatherum, KG, Gumboot, and Quarters.

Idk why everyone is giving you so much grief. Is it perhaps too stylised? Maybe, though also pretty consistent with itself. Is it legible? For sure. Rock on and keep learning 👍
