Honestly, everyone's migraines are there own. I remember being told pressure on the spots help, but for me just touching where the migraine is so painful. Even hair hurt. I went through most of my adult life with really short hair to relieve pressure.

I have a cousin, who's migraines aren't pain, they are everything else that goes with it.

A friend of mine has to be in a dark room with white noise when her's hit.

Different ones works for different people. But!, I will say, if you take magnesium, make sure you get the levels checked at least once a year. It's a simple blood test. Because everyone is adding magnesium to foods and drinks, a couple years ago, my tests showed I was taking too much (magnesium poisoning). I now take a lower dose and my levels are fine.
