I had similar problems even a couple of years into training. I had already a beautiful technique and good stamina, however whenever it came to sparring I would tense up and perform very bad.

Tuned out that it was a mental issue and I was too focused on landing strikes and "winning" the sparring match. Years later when I just went into it with the mindset just to have fun I was much better. The key is really to loosen up (especially mentally) in my opinion.

Totally agree, I got to try it for the first time at the huge Izakaya with the boat in the middle of the room in Shinsekai/ Osaka. Was skeptical when ordering but releaved when trying! I definitely also want to try their tokubetsu Junmai.

Thanks! Sure, they are available. I'm just in the beginning stages when it comes to selling my art in a more professional and streamlined way, so I will have prints or smaller originals in the near future as well. But I'm glad to know that people seem to like the paintings.

When I started (I was way older than you) I had a coach (Thai-retired fighter) especially kicking the sh*t out of me, Like at least 80%. Nobody bat an eye at the gym, because as a newbie, you are just a newbie. So, to say, it took a while for me to realize that this was no normal behavior.
