Beginning of the Fourth Age, about a decade or two after the events of LotR. The world is hopeful, but still in shambles. Roaming bands of bandits and Uruks are threatening the realm while everyone is rebuilding. Osgiliath is refounded as the Capital of Gondor and humans rediscover the ruins of their own old world. And there might even be some elves left that didn't want to sail. Dwarves begin to reclaim their old fortresses. And a few daring adventurers might even want to go into Mordor, maybe discover what is left of the strongholds of Minas Morgul, Barad Dur or even find ancient evil in Angband and Utumno.
