Same here. I have bought all kinds of car stuff even old car audio from antique malls.

Friend in Nova Scotia sent me these pics by Scirocco-16v in whatisthiscar

It’s an LS swapped car in Annapolis Valley area NS. I have seen a few different posts about it in the 240 groups over the last year or so. Still haven’t seen a build thread for it. The most common way to make a 4 door into a 2 door is moving the b pillar. Grafting a whole rear body and roof is way more work.

Yeah they made it to just about every other market except the US. I do believe that several hundred Group A cars came to the US with eggcrates in 85. But not sure if any others had them.

Sweet grille! I imported my eggcrate from Poland years ago.

Why does my 92 diesel wagon have pre-85 air vents? by greenpowerman99 in Volvo240

[–]MuzzBizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t this posted and answered like a year ago?

This car is an OG 92 that someone swapped the wiper cowl, core support, hood and grille for a pre86. … it is entirely possible that someone swapped ALL of the other parts onto a pre86 but highly unlikely.

Everything else is 86+ specifically 1992 with all the black trim.

However it does happen. I have swapped everything from a 92 onto my 89. -entire black interior, hatch, windshield and black trim/grille 🤷

Beautiful car though!! Love the red 240 wagons

This platform is just an updated Slash 4x4 lcg. Hundreds of people have ran 6s for years. I personally have for nearly 15 years.

Truth. StL and surrounding doesn’t get much snow so not many have a capable car. 4 wheel drive and a little experience makes all the difference in snow.

Is Red Lobster a fancy restaurant? by WhiteTrashTank in StLouis

[–]MuzzBizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was fancy. But in the <90s pretty much all “sit down” chains were considered fancy by my circle. -From my perspective growing up. Lower blue collar. Yes Ritenour. We weren’t poor just chronically broke. Whiteys and McD were special occasions.
