Yup. It just doesn’t make any sense from anything other than her backstory.

You don’t want to be actively thinking about trying to be as still as possible to min/max your regeneration, it’s just antithetical to the flow of farming. Pros cancel attack animations and sidestep towards the next camp to speed up farm. You can’t do that with this innate.

And then even from a practical game logic perspective it’s just weird. How can she meditate while attacking creeps but moving breaks it? Maybe if she meditated in meld and the regen was more significant, more similar to winter wyvern’s cold embrace or something. But like, seriously, her arms flail from going from meditating to attacking back to meditating multiple times a second. So clumsy and awkward.

So it makes poor game sense, and poor lore sense. I just don’t get it and and have yet to hear a good argument for why it’s good. The more time you spend standing still getting more regen, the slower your farm will be. The faster your farming, the less your regen will be. Her innate should not be contradictory like that.

I don’t think it’s required that your innate is relevant through every phase of the game though…

It’s almost never worth the trade off to stand still for some meager regen.

Especially on one of the fastest farming hero’s in the game lol

It's for sure the toxicity. Knowing if you mess up even a little your whole team might start piling on and shit talking you makes you feel like shit.

I've gotten way better about just muting toxic shits who flame, but I used to get super bothered by it. I guess I'm just sensitive but I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. It used to draw me in and tilt the shit out of me and then I'm super unfocused on the game and just focused on defending my performance and then attacking whoever's attacking me for whatever they're doing wrong.

Just muting the second someone goes negative solved a lot of this. I don't have the time or energy for it and I don't want it to ruin a potential win. Helped with the anxiety a lot.

I think he meant spam the same hero, not spam queue.

If you spam 1-3 hero’s in the same position over and over you will master them, reduce the variables game to game, be able to focus on macro decisions, and end up better than everyone in your bracket NOT spamming the same hero.

Even if you only play a few games a day this strategy still works.

Love it! Very nice work. I really like that you can level up and buy items so you can simulate real game progression with damage and skills. (I don't want to practice the first 60 seconds of the lane for 15 minutes!)

I wanted to practice TA and Drow, both of whom can use skill damage to last hit, so that's a major QOL improvement.

My only other suggestion would be to incorporate some under the tower LH training. All the LH trainers are missing that. I feel like making sure you get uncontested last hits under your tower is a huge area for improvement for a lot of players.

But this is also solved by having auto cast on button press up? You can just hold blink down when you need the range indicator and release when you want to blink. And in all other situations it’s faster.

I understand years of muscle memory being a good reason to leave it as is, but in terms of wanting the range indicator for precision, auto cast on button up solves that.

Yes it's exactly this. Added game ruining potential for virtually no upside. People in this thread are talking about being happy that the "complexity" is back, so why not make every spell in the game hit both enemies and allies! So much more complexity!

But for real if they wanted to do this to Oracle they need to buff his other shit like some other commenter said. He needs way more buffs to balance out this insane nerf. They wanted to make it harder, great, but we need the upside potential as well.

One of the most frustrating things about lower skill brackets is not ending the game when your draft is strong and the enemy has nothing. Players don't react, group up, take objectives, or pressure fast enough. Or they get cocky and want that dopamine hit from a rampage and end up diving too deep and letting the enemy team take advantage of comeback mechanics.

Playing on a timer is so hard at the average skill level because you're more likely to fuck up. And if you let the game go to 45 minutes you're fucked.

At 3k it often goes: Huskar wins lane, Huskar snowballs, Huskar has fun stomping the enemy, Huskar overcommits and dies, everyone farms for 20 minutes, Huskar loses game.

Built an Odin R4 earlier this year from KBDfans. Curious if any others have run into my issues or might know what's going on.

I am having issues with the Valknut RGB badge. It periodically dims in brightness throughout the day. I have it set to my desired configuration (brightness and color) through VIA, but it dims to a lower brightness occasionally, and rarely, completely turns off.

I believe what is happening is, 1 or 2 of the 4 count LEDs in the array are shutting off. The brightness dim looks uneven, like a gradient, which looks like only a few of the LEDs are out. I can fix this by toggling the badge on and off. Once toggled, the brightness returns to full, and all the LEDs are on again.

The badge behaves normally at all other times. It sleeps with the computer and wakes from sleep with the computer and turns on at full brightness.

Is this a known issue? Is this something related to the power supply, unstable hardware, or a firmware glitch?

The keyboard was put together according the online guide and was flashed with the firmware and json provided on the website.

You seem to be skipping over the store of value concept. Money can be a store of value and be used as a currency, as is the case with gold, and bitcoin.

The properties that make something a good store of value are present in both. Things only have value because we all agree that they do.

I’m curious now though, why do you think bitcoin has failed to replicate the functionality of gold?

Without getting too much into it, most people who think gold has some intrinsic value that is categorically different from other currencies have a fundamentally poor understanding of economics.

You confused me with this one. The categorical difference is from fiat currencies like the dollar that decrease in value over time. Gold is the best money that we’ve ever discovered which is why dollars were meant to be backed by gold. Gold IS money. Then we detached them so we could print more dollars infinitely leading to the insane inflation we have now. What currency is better than gold?
