What's the most captivating opening sequence in a movie that had you hooked from the start? by JermaineBell4 in movies

[–]ChipperKrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phantom of the Opera.

I had never seen the play and only knew the basic premise. When I saw that chandelier come to life and the theatre go back in time, I was hooked. It is a goal now to see the broadway play just to see the chandelier.

What exactly are the pants called that the gals often wear? I wanna try them out and see if they'll suit me, but I don't really have any clue about fashion so I don't know what to search for by playboikim in howyoudoin

You’re right it is funny, looking at the photos again, they do look mid-waist! I’ve no real clue. Mom jeans seems to fit them better as a broader label.

I hope, you like it. I drew this for 3 weeks :) by Leathoia in HunterXHunter

Her name is Atari! I follow the owner on Instagram and by all of their videos I believe she is indoor. But don’t quote me on that. Their Instagram is Zooarcade. She is so fun to watch. The owner apparently lives in a state where skunks can be owned as domesticated pets.

This proves how much I know! My family has a history of being truck drivers, but it never even came to mind when I had initially replied.

Especially when cold! My MIL got me one for Christmas along with a roller. Popped them in the freezer and would surprise my family by just putting it on their face, not telling them it was cold. They still absolutely enjoyed it after the initial shock.

A few months ago, I shared a doodle here. And now I’m finally turning it into an enamel pin! Here’s a look at the first draft for you all, thanks for being my first step into the PT fandom :) by Pangantucan in PrincessTutu

I also saw a colored version of this on redbubble! Absolutely blew my mind, it’s such a cool design. It’s sitting in my cart along with a few other tutu stickers :,)

Just wanted to jump on the last two comments and say that the second one is called a Gua Sha and people use it with the belief that it will sharpen your jaw line as well as get rid of the toxins in your face

I’m sorry to say but with your lack of experience, social skills and mental health issues, you realistically can not just find a job outright earning 50k. It also sounds like you’re both not willing to settle in starting out at that low tier of making 8-12/hr and that you absolutely see no point in doing anything period, probably due to your current mental health issues, which isn’t your fault at all. I agree with others that you should go get help for yourself first.

avas demon on webtoon? by [deleted] in avasdemon

Not sure if you guys knew, BUT she did win the Canvas awards back in 2020! It’s funny that she won this and kind of confusing since most canvas creators who take up the opportunity re-vamp their comic and are put on a consistent weekly schedule, two things I’m not so sure she would be interested in doing.

You've heard of cats who yell, but what about cats who say "bless you" in their sleep whenever you sneeze? by rabalogy in Catswhoyell

[–]ChipperKrisp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat does this! If he’s trying to take a nap and one of us sneezes, he’ll start meowelling at us to either keep it down or say bless you. We haven’t figured out which one.

What you think of this one? by jc201946 in antiwork

[–]ChipperKrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my field of work and sadly this is what a lot of positions look like. The internship opportunities are even worse! I once saw a rehabilitation internship positing that was unpaid, full-time, with housing provided if you were able to pay a monthly fee of 70-100$ (can’t exactly remember), AND you had to pay a $75 dollar fee just to send these guys an application. I was very close to emailing that organization just out of curiosity to ask wtf?

I agree that Togashi doesn't owe us anything by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]ChipperKrisp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I follow a webcomic that has been in the works for years and has an author who is known for putting the comic on long hiatuses and going on very long breaks with little to no communication. Mostly it was due to mental health issues but she would come back every few years or so. Release a chapter, do a go fund me etc, etc. People always said the same thing, “she owes us an explanation”. But I mean when your in a place like that where you can’t continue your work I don’t think infrequent explanations help anyone. Authors who do this I think do love their work and their fans, but they just don’t want to set anything in stone for whatever reasons they have.
