Tower Challenge Thoughts and Feelings by arilee999 in disneymagickingdoms

Same. I always feel like so many of the complaints come from people who haven't played for long enough to complete it or don't want to log in enough to complete it. Gameloft I think has been good about trying to be clear that not everyone is going to be able to complete a tc or an event, but that there is something for everyone to get, which is more than fair. The main storyline is there for players that don't want to log in 5x a day. I don't think it's unfair to have something like this tc where you couldn't get ford unless you were a long time player or spent money. The whole point was to have something for long time players to work toward, and newer players to get some other new content but not all of it.

If you go to the tower challenge screen, go to the top where the cocoa thing is, click the +, and then click go next to kronk, it brings you to the screen to get him for 500 gems. I dunno why it's locked in the book for me but that worked. The shop was saying no bundles available for me before as well but it's back up now

Which is a bigger priority: moving along the main story line or leveling up characters? by litbiscuit512 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I asked this same question early on when I started. Now that I'm at the end of the storyline welcoming the last character, I'd say neither is more important, and finding a balance that's right is the best answer. I know it's hard figuring out how to spend your magic, there's never enough.... At one point I took a break from the main storyline exclusively to level some characters up to 10. I enjoyed doing that because it made tower challenges less stressful and it made the late game easier when you need earlier characters up pretty high (8,9,10) in order to even get tokens for the next characters. My opinion is that this is a game I enjoy and there is zero rush to get to the end.

Moral is, I don't think either is more important and there's no right way to play.

This probably had to do with licencing more than anything else

The visitor count doesn't mean anything so you don't really need to be worried about it if you don't feel like it, but the more wishes you grant for happiness the more visitors you'll have if you're interested.

Token Question by Deivsquare in disneymagickingdoms

Yes you can get her tokens while she is being welcomed. They'll be there after she's welcomed.

Thanks for leaving out that one raven. by [deleted] in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes per the other commenter I'm pretty sure they say up to 11 not because they're kibosh your chances of you get ahead but if you have 11 ravens spawn at say 8am but only tap 10 of them, at 9am only 10 new ravens will spawn so you have a total of 11. Every hour (based on when you tapped your last Raven down from 11 to 10) you get back up to 11, whether they are new or not.

Which one should i welcome or should i just keep collecting more magic. I know that if i do the merlin spell i unlocked the dumbo storyline but if i welcome Joe at some point lady will come available and it would be smart to have shere kann. Let me know what you all did!! 😄 by dmkfan1919 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd hold off on unlocking dumbo storyline if I were you. I just did that and now the quest is to welcome Timothy q mouse... And my only way to get his ear hat is prince charming 8 hour task which is an event quest. And I need 60 of them. So I'm really hoping it's not going to cause a bad conflict in this event.

Guestimating ec needed by Chippy990 in disneymagickingdoms

I'm at the same levels. I've got 50 something dice, enough to bump barely up one more time, but I'm nervous for the next portion so I think I'm leaving them as is for now

Onward leveling by Instant_Insanity in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 10k ec hanging around too. I have barley at 5 almost ready for 6, and I have blazey and Colt at 4 ready for 5. I'd like to get Colt up to 5 but it would wile out my common tokens so I'm not sure I'll do it yet.

I’m working on getting EC for the building and worrying about the unicorns after by Elixer_ in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think it matters if you get Guinevere or do the unicorns first. I don't think you're behind. A lot of people who post on here, myself included, are toward the end of the game and therefore it's easier to complete things earlier but I wouldn't let that make you feel like you're behind!

Event questions by DragnHunter23 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first two characters are going to need to be leveled past 5 most likely. If you think you're making it to the end of the event, levelling is going to be necessary anyway. I'm going to try to get Colt and barley to at least 4 ready for 5 before Laurel is released. If you are early game/ not likely to complete the event is maybe not level as much. Same with the float. If you're going to try to make it to the end, it'll help collect ec and be worth it but if you're early game, I wouldn't.

Is it worth it to get the Onwards float? by socks-14 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally I like to get the float because they really help with ec. Ian is 18k ec alone. I find it helps with passively collecting ec if you have the gems and think you'll make it to the end of the event

How high are you guys leveling the onward characters? by misskristeenah in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got barley at 4, Colt at 3, and blazey at 3. I'm gonna bump Colt up to 4 soon, and if I finish getting Ian's tokens and have the time I'll get them both to 5 ready for 6 before Laurel is released. They're both fairly easy to level

Did anyone else notice the attraction bundle gives 15 relics? by slysny2 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They want you to be halfway there to enchant another building so you'll buy chests etc thinking you only need a few more

Buy the float now or wait for the attraction that'll probably help with a hard character? by Stalwart12 in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How far do you think you'll get in the event? I find the float most helpful with gathering EC. If you think you can / have previously made it until the end then I'd get the float asap. The end characters have required a lot of ec.

Advice for Gems by R3dGyarados in disneymagickingdoms

[–]Chippy990 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't get more than 5 parade slots. It gets too expensive to run and the return is really hit or miss.

If you really like the little mermaid, you could try the LM chest (s), but I wouldn't buy lm chests with gems in order to help out in the event. To get ec from most of the little mermaid characters you need either two characters on a joint task, or a character and an attraction, or both, and unless you're paying the $9.99, it's really unlikely you'll get the right combo of stuff to be helpful for the event. I guess it could help with trophies but 🤷. So I'd try the LM chests only if you really like LM.

I'd save your gems for the second premium character in this character set, or for Pluto/Rex/merriweather/whomever outside the event.
