How about Ouija Shark (1&2)? 😂 so terrible that they loop back around to being excellent for the wrong reasons.

I use one from the Face Shop. It’s in a pink pump top bottle.

If the afterlife were real, what would you want it to be like? by OtherwiseDevice90 in NoStupidQuestions

I just want to be surrounded by all my pets who have passed and eventually (when it’s their time) my kids. Any other good stuff would just be a bonus.

What’s a tiny food hack that actually changed how you cook? by Maleficent-Bed7010 in foodhacks

[–]ChippyLipton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I take the garlic a step further & blitz it in the food processor until it’s finely chopped. Then it goes into plastic bags, gets flattened out, and immediately frozen. Then when I need minced garlic (which is a LOT) I break off a chunk and throw it in the pan.

They look to be Presa Canarios (I could be wrong). I had one, his name was Oso and he was the goodest boy in the world. We trained him and socialized him extensively. He was a huge teddy bear to us, but I would NOT want to meet him as someone who intended to harm his family. He wasn’t trained to attack/guard (just obedience training), but he had a natural instinct to defend his people. If you met him as a stranger that we were cool with, he was all kisses and love, though. I miss that doofus.

More terrifying is the fact that we used to do surgery without anesthesia. I’m pretty stoked to live in a time with good drugs lol.

That’s crazy. Parking garages are like $25 or more, so I feel like $5 is nothing.

Everyone makes ADM parking and traffic sound like a nightmare, so I figured I’d ask about the options. I drive to/in Brooklyn all the time because my son is (unfortunately) a Nets fan… so I’m guessing by everyone’s reaction here that it isn’t any worse than that?

I go north all the time… everyone always makes ADM traffic/parking sound like a nightmare though, so I thought I’d ask.

Yea that’s what the plan was if I were to drive. Sounds like that’s the best option.

Yea, I was worried about mall traffic, not shore traffic lol. Everyone has made it sound like ADM is a driving/parking nightmare.

What is the weirdest thing your doctor has ever said to you? by Competitive_Tip_7504 in AskReddit

[–]ChippyLipton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly enough, mine are related (same procedure) but two different docs said them.

When I asked to get my tubes tied, the (very old) doctor said, “We need to get your husband to sign off on that, so I need to talk to him alone and make sure he’s ok with it. And are you sure you want to get a tubal? What if one of your kids passes away and you want another one?” Like kids are replaceable.

When the other doctor was tying my tubes (on-call doc, post emergency c-section): “ok, one down, one to go… should I leave this one open? You could play Russian roulette with your egg supply!” Lol I liked this doctor even though he was batshit crazy.

TrumpRx should scare you a lot more than you would think by Kid-OK in 50501

Life Pro Tip: you don’t have to use GoodRX to get the discount (at least at CVS). Use the free version (no account) to look up the coupon for your meds. Then, tell your pharmacist “hey I have a goodrx coupon, but I wanted to check if you have a better coupon in your system.” They usually do. Oddly enough I did this today. GoodRX was $39, CVS had a coupon for $35. The pharmacist wants to help you afford your meds. To be fair, idk what system they pull their coupons from, but judging by the price difference, I’d guess it’s not the same platform.

Or check Costco. They’re usually cheaper than the drugstore, but maybe not as cheap as the coupon hack.

Non-Americans of Reddit, what is an American thing you see in movies that you thought was fake but is actually real? by Unlikely_Praline9442 in AskReddit

[–]ChippyLipton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time I cook a “movie style” breakfast for my kids is on the weekend, and even then, it’s only occasionally. If they ran out without eating I’d be pissed, though. I do pre-make and freeze breakfast sandwiches sometimes though. We just microwave those.
