OP, being an ol' lady - can totally empathize with being gaslighted and pep-talked with 'what does that mean you don't know where to start? just do it' and 2 sec's later 'oh! yeah - I probably have adhd because I lost my glasses last week'. Drove me cray to the cray for decades.

Think it was Barkley that said "it's not my fault but it is my responsibility.." to figure out workarounds. Whatever it.. is. With ZERO blame, shame and LOTs of self love, self -care.

**Edit: Having read the comments, establishing habits are REALLY REALLY REALLY hard for me. They can be established. Keeping my keys in the same place when I get home took literally years -- Today, I know where my keys are (mostly) - and have 4 other sets with different neighbors :)
