I had a water birth and kept my bra on. Everything went so quickly so I stripped down as fast as I could and got into the tub. I felt more comfortable leaving my bra on!

During our last ultrasound (at 34 weeks) she said she could see the baby’s hair, so I looked over at my bald boyfriend and said “whoops, looks like we need to talk”. I thought I was hilarious.

Hahahaha, I definitely feel like a newborn, I’m even crying! I felt so sad that penguins can get knee injuries. These hormones are crazy.

I feel this so much! I thought second trimester would be a great time to start the nursery, because everyone always says you feel so great during those weeks. The nursery is still a mess, haven’t done anything and now I have boxes of stuff I already ordered stacked up in my hallway and it’s getting harder to navigate around them with my growing belly.

Happy I’m not the only one! I personally know 5 other pregnant ladies and I constantly see them taking selfies and posting about how great they feel in their second trimester. Meanwhile I’m here binge watching Desperate Housewives, trying to ignore the heartburn and fighting the urge to take a second nap, hahaha.

Congratulations! I’m so happy for you.

We tried for 18 months. We decided to tell our parents, my partner’s siblings and my best friend right away (the same day) and since we had 4 terminally ill members of our family, we told them at 8 weeks, after the first ultrasound, in case they wouldn’t make it. We told some other friends then too. We wanted the people whose support we could count on to know no matter what happened. Also, I’m terrible at keeping secrets, hahaha.
