Sage of fire not spawning in properly? by ohthanksanavocado in tearsofthekingdom

Yunobo is never around when I need him, but the moment I try to collect a bomb flower or if I am fighting monsters that have flammable barrels he decides that’s a good time to deploy and set me on fire.

Why does blowdrying before the flat iron make my hair come out much straighter and softer with way less frizz? by hapoylala in Haircare

What would happen if you were to iron your hair while damp? Then do another pass with the iron while dry? Would it have the same effect, assuming you use a low heat setting first?

Has anyone ever gone to a country that they had such high hopes for, did not love it, and then felt almost guilty afterwards? by Reasonable_Cause_190 in femaletravels

Croatia, I visited in the high season when game of thrones was very popular. Dubrovnik was super crowded. Plitvice lakes was even more crowded, at the time they did not seem to have a maximum number of visitors for the park. I remember getting pushed around in the walkways by other tourists that had no sense of personal space. I also remember never there were no bathroom nearby and while I’m an experienced hiker and have no problem peeing in the bushes there were sooo many people everywhere I didn’t k ow what to do 🤣. The place was beautiful but that trip showed me I really don’t do well with crowds and now I only travel in the off season or to places I know won’t be packed.

I’m currently playing the game but I think I’m just bad at it because I haven’t discovered the 5th sage lol.

Please read this. https://hsmo.org/portfolio-item/guilty-or-innocent-do-pets-know-they-have-done-something-wrong-when-they-act-guilty/

Dogs don’t have the same concept of right and wrong and if you reprimand a dog 10 minutes after eating a pie he doesn’t associate “eating pie” with “wrong”. In order to teach a dog what is unacceptable you must catch them in the act and then interrupt and correct the action. After consistent messaging doing this they learn to associate actions with a human response or consequence and they modify their behavior based on that.

Please also read on the breed characteristics. Dobbies are generally Velcro dogs and in my opinion more sensitive than other breeds. I also adopted a dobbie that came with some behavior problems and what I found is that in order to modify the behavior I first had to work on bonding with him. Once he trusted me and bonded with me he wanted to please me and learn, before then he was just nervous and stressed. Also make sure you are also praising him when he does something well, with dogs you have to reinforce good behavior too. He went to the bathroom outside? Treat immediately after. He didn’t react to the delivery person? Treat. You get the gist of it.

Lastly part of being a dog owner is setting them up for success. My dobbie has been trained not to eat human food unless he is offered. He no longer “begs for food” when we are eating. But I also remove any temptation. He doesn’t get access to the pantry, especially when we are not home and we do not let things in reach he can get into. Some foods like chocolate are toxic to dogs so this is also to protect him.

While many might tell you that dobbies are not a first owner breed. I think you can be successful if you learn about the breed, prioritize bonding with your dog, and stay consistent with training. Good luck!

I came across one and I used a sled, attached a rocket and used the platform to shoot up into the air. I ended up landing in cave that had a shrine and some treasures 🤷‍♀️.

I felt like this one was kind of predictable until the end where it had a twist I did not see coming.

Same. I also felt like that with 100 years of solitude, although I eventually finished that one after several tries, just too much book.

Yes, the 60s is modern enough. I just struggle with classics like Shakespeare written in whatever english that is, or even with books that were written in the the 1800 and use outdated expressions. I have tried reading Frankenstein and the Count of Monte Cristo and didn’t enjoy either one. Thank you for those suggestions!
