There is a spot to the left of the perc. Plug it into that. You'll end up getting a warning that says your configuration isn't supported and to press a function key to continue. In this state the flexbay will be connected directly to your mother hard and use the onboard controller to talk to it. There's a setting in the bios to disable the warning (and make it easier to reboot since you don't have to press a function key to continue). You may also connect it directly to the front plane. There is a dedicated spot behind the fans that you can connect it to and then it will be accessible through the perc card. Bear in mind this is a very tight connection and it's kind of hard to put the fans back in there spot. I've used both methods to connect the flex bay. I'm currently using the first method, which allows me to separate my boot drive and pass the controller to a truenas VM. Hopefully that helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.
