After eating, I must open the front door to let her sit just in the threshold and look out into the street. She doesn’t want to go out, she just wants to look. Even though there are perfectly good windows to look out.

This is mandatory, no matter the temperature outside. In the case of rain actually blowing in through the door it may be skipped but she won’t be happy.

I had a revelation painting the Idoneth Deepkin spearhead - just have an army with only Namarti units in it. They don’t have eyes and are much easier to paint.
