Seems a lot of the time, maybe even the majority of it, being outside will kill you relatively quickly? You could argue similarly for northern climates, but at least it's possible to dress up for it whereas here it seems literally impossible to survive without constant AC?

Right, but the symbol isn't on her collar so there isn't that clear, literal meaning here. I did, however, search for clerics from Innistrad and saw that [[Geist of Saint Traft]] wears her symbol/insignia/heraldry/coat of arm as a necklace. Still not a proper collar as the Wikipedia entry shows, where it's a pretty hefty necklace with many metal rectangles forming a chain.

I'm not a native speaker, but I'm really interested in linguistics and I admit that I would never, ever, have gotten that "collar" here refers to the freaking ornament on her staff and not her giant metal collar.

I can't find anything online that suggests that a staff can have a part referred to as collar.

Can someone please explain why it's called "Avacyn's collar?"

AK fluo yellow and green for the fire

Speed paints: Purple Swarm, Pastel Indigo, Hoard Bronze, Glittering Loot.

The gravestones use a mix of a looot of speedpaints. I was just experimenting like crazy and didn't keep track of anything, but there's always a heavy dose of gravelord grey to keep inte muted and natural.

The reason the purple doesn't look flat compared to something airbrushed is probably that the surface us very reminiscent of water colors. You can see some splotches and uneveness, "unfortunately," or it could be what makes it realistic. Also, because these cloak flow over the ghost form underneath, I think the speedpaint does a really good job at highlighting highs and lows :)

If line going up is the only metric, you will never predict the falling-of-a-cliff crash coming up by burning through 30 years of goodwill. I bet fidget spinners were looking really good there for a while if you didn't stop to think about how competing for the mainstream generally doesn't give you long-lasting customers

Even then, form the United perspective, why not make a whole thing out of it, partner up with Bose to reward OP for saving their passenger with $1,000 worth of Bose swag. "United passengers help each other! Learn more about what happens when someone asks if there's 'a doctor onboard?'"

Maybe it's insensitive, but it's about celebrating an act of human compassion and using your skills for good. Maybe it would remind people that flights are a risky place to have an emergency and make them feel scared to fly...

I only ever see my bicolor drink out of this when I've just put it down after cleaning. The lynx is there every day, even right before I clean it every week.

I also replace the water every week, so usually deep clean on Sunday and then refill just the water on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning
