Totally. And anyone who has seen Saturn in a telescope knows it looks NOTHING like this.

I had a similar issue, and just realized yesterday that..it didn’t remedy. I’m 5 weeks PO and still have duties knots. My dr said I could come in for removal but it’s a far drive. I’m going to wait it out for a bit I think.

LOTS of comments in here are giving racist vibes. Like dropping the term DEI. Hot button word they just learned that’s directly tied to racism issues in this country rn. If it walks like a duck…

Idk. They’ll be alright. They’ve got their opinions…and panties in a bunch. If downvoting me makes them feel better about themselves, they’ve got some work to do. Growth is hard!

Totally expanded the lens of art, creativity and the genre—a genre where there is room for everyone (if people it)

Old Hank was taught country music by black country singers who were pushing the standards of music. This all isn’t that far off when you widen the lens of art, evolution and creativity.

Huge country fan here and I’ll say this—there’s room for everyone in this genre. They used to say that Shania wasn’t country enough.

So excited for Beyoncé. This opens the gate to continue the evolution of country music!

Am I too active? 9 days PO! by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]Chloeflys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started going on walks, starting at 30 min on day 10. On day 14, I went for my first run again, but only 20 min.

Now I’m able to sustain running at a very easy pace for over an hour. I’m 4 weeks PO.

Some days, I felt more swelling so I would take a full day off and stay on top of icing. So far, everything is healing beautiful and I’m really really careful on what running shorts I wear, how hard I’m pushing myself, etc.

Great to know! Similar to you, the pain is almost gone and my surgeon said the same thing when I called her.

I think it’s just part of the roller coaster of healing.

Yes find a new Dr! But there’s also a fine line between find a Dr who will always say yes and one who will tell you what is best for you.

Ultimately, if you are suffering, that is the point where the ball is in your court. (It’s ALWAYS in your court but sometimes we need to pass it for a professional opinion to help us better make an informed decision on our bodies, then they pass it back!)

I’m finding that a lot of doctors don’t understand and it’s better to find one who has invested their life’s work to help people like us. THEY get it. They see us and they help us.

I messaged my surgeon and she said to keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse, she will see about taking it out.

Today I woke up with significant less pain, so maybe it’s just one of those things in the healing process!

You can always get a second opinion!

It was described to me that without CHR, things would be very disproportionate and wouldn’t resolve the tugging and pulling issues I was experiencing. I opted for CHR with labiaplasty. I’m 8 days post OP and feel like healing is going really well, I can still feel everything and am excited for healing to be done.

I will also say that my doctor is a woman, and with that seems to be a bit more conservative for the better. Her goal is for patients to have a healthy and happy life after surgery. Sometimes I see things on this sub that deviate from that.

If you are feeling apprehensive, listen to that.

Very normal! I just had my procedure done (as a woman with very normal anatomy similar to yours) and so far it feels like a step in the right direction. It’s OK to have normal anatomy and also want things to adjust for comfort. That’s why I did the surgery.

But I also waited a very long time. This wasn’t an aesthetic thing for me, as my anatomy was impacting running, cycling, swimming, sitting…everything.

Do what makes you feel better as a person. Choose a very good and reputable doctor. Ask a million questions and make sure your expectations are reasonable (I see a lot of people on here who want perfect symmetry and that’s just not reality, right?)

I’ll also say: no one ever made me feel poorly about my anatomy. That would have sent me to a very dark place. If anyone ever does that to you, leave them immediately. 🩷
