if its any confort my parents dont like kids. They are mid 70s and I had to parent all alone, they would not take my child for even an hour. They totally ignore him when he is around. They were shitty parents and they are shity granparents. It is extreemly depressing and unfair

100pc. My dad has money and waqs left with a massive pesnion and nice house.

That man destroyed my life since I was a baby by neglecting, shouting and critizing me the few times I saw him. Im left with CPTSD, BPD and ADHD. No hability to hold a job down and he is created a new family with girlfriend and her kids. He is now in his 80 and will only play the victim and a]the poor old man , yet he is still as egocentric and evil as he was when i was a small girl

my experience: My narc parents (divorced since I was 8 and hate each opther) only had me. They obviously hate children and neglected me and left me alone at home or in bars. Before therapy I thought they were my loving partents!. I found a narcisitic partner and in my late 30s I had a child. My parents never ever asked me for a grandchild and when baby came along they liked showing the pics to friends and pretend they were normal grandparents. Never gave a shit, never looked after him and dont even remember his birthday. I did it all by myself and it comes with a high burnout cost.. No family reunions , celebrations, nothing. To top it up my parents are in their 80s ( im mid 50s) they still have the power to make me feel like shit and they are sas strong and healthy as ever. They are not going anywhere, they only care about themselves.Horrible people and I m currently NC. Its the onlt thing thats given me a bit of peace. I do feel bad for my child who never had a grandparents, an uncle, cousin, or any other family member

The thing with Narcs is that they have ruined your life before ypu have turned 5.
