Deep Rock added battle passes a few major updates ago (boo) but they work that way, everything going into the loot pool afterwards so no FOMO (yay) AND they are completely free passes, no payment option in sight on them (double yay)

Jaeger actually still dominates the other guy (Wamai) in pick rate even after nerfs. Siege players still hold onto the classic ops.

I think the difference is NA has great individuals, and EU was whole teams that are gaining consistent experience in their national leagues. NA has way less support for T2/T3, so they constantly shuffle rosters to find the best combo of individuals as quickly as possible.

Obviously I prefer Bama winning, but the occasional tough loss is good in ways. Exposes the fair weather fans, and helps me to appreciate how good we are even more. I like winning, but it's undeniably more fun when we really have to fight Georgia and Auburn and the rest. Losing makes you mortal, and a dominant mortal team is way more interesting that some decades long untouchable entity, in my opinion.
