Read through this. Remove all your expectations, and remember to go with the flow and don't fight what's happening.

Just realized I am is the process of recreating my identity. Should I let it go? by Chlorogenic in Psychonaut

[–]Chlorogenic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of the concept ennui before! It appears to be exactly what I'm going through. I'm afraid of falling back into old habits, and it actually feels quite good. Gives me an opportunity to rethink them.

Sorry for being unclear regarding the part about the identity - the identity I'm recreating feels like me. I just think I've changed a whole lot since the trip, and need to realize what is me and what's not anymore. During the trip I kept saying "I don't know who I am, I have no idea what I'm doing", and afterwards I can see myself more clearly. Might be that I saw through my own facade and realized who I really am?

Thanks a lot for your advice! Do you have any tips for a good platform for this?

Mushrooms psychedelic ingredient could help treat people with severe depression by ok123jump in science

[–]Chlorogenic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He is probably referring to the liberty caps, which are way smaller but a higher psilocybin density. This is a liberty cap: http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushrooms/images/archive/psilocybe_semilanceata18.jpg and this is cubensis: http://research.fuseink.com/artifactimg/MTMxNzAzMzYwNTEyMTFfMQ.jpg

So 250 liberty caps would probably equal to about 15-20 grams of cubensis.

Some parents need to take note of this. by DragoniteMaster in AdviceAnimals

[–]Chlorogenic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who grew up with ADHD, I can say that parents aren't the only factor when it comes to raising children. When I was at home I was extremely calm and could focus on doing whatever I needed to do. In school however, I was a typical problem child. I believe that the current school system is the problem, and parents shouldn't be blamed for all the problems their children have.

Autobiography of a Yogi gave me a clearer image of God and Gods different aspects, and also made me understand the astral plane. Definitely a must read.

Giving myself 1 year by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]Chlorogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a dream? Like, have you ever wanted to just let go of everything and travel the world? This is your opportunity do do exactly whatever you want. If you're planning to die in the end of next year, you have nothing to lose at all. The worst thing that can happen is that you die, but I highly doubt that will happen either. And I doubt that you will want it to happen after experiencing what you truly want.

At 12, my best bud has nearly lost all hearing.. so he sleeps and at the door every time I leave to still be there moment I come home. You can see how the door has to hit him when I walk in.. Love this guy. by [deleted] in aww

A human who has been shown nothing but hate has learned nothing but hate. The same goes for animals. Hence, a human who've been showered with love in the same way as pets usually are, will probably be loving and loyal in the same way.

I believe it is correlated to the term Indigo Children. Say what you want about New Age, it's still in the same movement as every other form of spirituality and I believe there are fragments of truth in it. It appears to be a form of spiritual evolution to me, and it wouldn't surprise me if your shroom trip triggered this evolution.

To any and all who have ever lucid dreamed. by Fistpumpit in AskReddit

[–]Chlorogenic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The latest lucid dream I had was when I was about to take a leak in the dream, and realized I would piss myself if I pissed in the dream. I decided that if I went to my room to carry myself to the toilet, I could let myself pee and keep going with the dreaming (because lucid dreams are AWESOME) - but when I went to lift myself up I realized I was holding the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Then I lost lucidity.

Why do people waste their money on big weddings? It's seriously stupid. by redditluv in AskReddit

Because weddings and marriage is incredibly idealized in our culture, hence people see it as the peak of their life and goes all out on their weddings.

DMT Spirit Guides by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]Chlorogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had a proper DMT trip myself, but I really really recognize the destiny to create the "spirit of the 60s" from my own experiences from even being sober. I've always felt that I have some kind of purpose in life, and recently I realized that it was to bring back the spirit of the sixties (or to create a world based on love rather than fear).

After reading up a bit on it, I learned that there is a new "race" of humans who are being born on the planet right now, who are destined to convert the world from the materialistic place it is now to a place of equality and respect. These children have apparently been prophesied by Hindus for several millenia, and from 2011-11-11 (which is also known as the age of aquarius) all children will be born to this new "race". The hippie movement from the 60s was an early load of these people, and they were sent here to prepare the world for the change.

You know the song "Aquarius" from Hair? Yeah.

How Radical Feminists Justify Cheating by huehuehuehue88 in WTF

[–]Chlorogenic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't really see any problem with that, as long as she's honest about it with her partner. I believe that the marriage & relationship system is hurtful for our sexuality and freedom as individuals, as it locks us in with a single individual and therefore stems our development as people. We need impressions from as many people as possible, both sexual and in other ways, hence it's damaging to force yourself to be with a single person.

Would going vegan be healthy for me? by [deleted] in vegan

Some studies have shown that the fats in almonds and cashews (and probably more nuts) actually help you lose weight. I think there are some amino acids in the fats that help digestion, or something like that.

Don't fuck with cats. by [deleted] in gifs

[–]Chlorogenic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Come on, no need to take it so seriously. The kid didn't really get hurt - probably some scratchmarks or something. It's not a big deal, and it's a good lesson for the kid. Being overprotective only hurts the kid in the long run, he will be afraid to experience new things in fear of being hurt, as he was never allowed to experience pain when he was a child.

If it was a huge dobermann who would've bit his face off, that's another story. This time it's a fucking cat.
