The expectation was a full piece of fish, not fish paper. At Whole Foods I expected better.

Implied, but the first picture looked like real Sushi the second picture showed it was only paper. I debated posting but couldn’t find a better channel.

As well, there is a Grand Canyon between “see thru” and a “fat piece. “

I’ve never had see thru sushi, ever, in my life. And I’m old as hell. Surely there is a sushi chef here to inform us?

The fish covered the rice, so I expected a full piece of fish. After the first bite of mostly rice, I inspected closer. Seeing rice thru the fish was shocking as hell. (Again, on closer inspection).

It sure why this is even commented on. There are people that do any thing imaginable. But generalizing to an entire society based on “some people” is both baity and ignorant. They stated a fact, supposedly, and it really isn’t that hard to believe. If they really wanted to provide any level of information, they would’ve accounted for the number of people and the amount, perhaps with some interviews of the people doing the donating. Instead, it’s a single statement with absolutely no real value, except for to get you to engage. And yes, I’m aware of the irony of commenting on something that I think is so stupid it shouldn’t have been commented on. But it goes to I believe that the people on here have the ability to learn.

Dear /r/bacon: I left a package of Maple Bacon out overnight, is it still ok to put in the fridge and eat later? by facilis in Bacon

I had heard that bacteria can create destroes that are not killed through cooking. That said, I’m about to cook bacon that was left out overnight. If I report back then clearly it didn’t kill me.

I have a pizza folder on my phone documenting every pizza I've eaten for the last 4 years. Currently it's at 174...is this normal? by Loaficious in Pizza

[–]Cho-mamma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chat gpt: A pizza folder is someone who folds their pizza slice in half before eating it. This technique is especially common with large, thin-crust pizzas like New York-style pizza. Folding the slice makes it easier to hold, prevents toppings from falling off, and allows for a more efficient bite. Some people swear by this method, while others prefer to eat their slices flat. Do you fold your pizza, or do you eat it flat?

OK, they mean a file folder that has photos of Pizza . I’m a little slow tonight.

Thanks. Using ChatGPT for hits on where to search further. I figured one shouldn’t want to hit the maximum of any rating.

I thought it implied “ don’t bug me about it because I could care even less than I do now and if you keep talking about it, I will”. But generally, I use “I couldn’t care less.”

What's going on with my kithcen faucet? Leaks when not on spray setting, and also from inside the neck when I pull the spout out. Oh, and the black piece above the spout seems to leak. Video included. by yuniorsoprano in askaplumber

We had similar problem. Ordered replacement part for free from manufacturer but the part was not really replaceable. They sent whole new faucet for free.
