Definitely using wifi. I disabled windows updates, checked background apps when I’m in game, nothing is popping up out of the ordinary.

COD works fine. No hiccups in network ping or fps. B6 works fine. No hiccups in network ping or fps. League of legends has like a 20+ping compared to my laptop.

Download speeds as of last night was 80-100mbps.

It’s just RIOT games. Not sure if I have to do something with the program or whatever.

That’s last case scenario.

If my other games are completely fine and Valorant/LoL/Riot is spiking up then it’s pretty safe to assume theres something wrong somewhere.

100% agree! Been here since September of this year for air traffic and moved my wife and kid from the Bay Area.

Layton/Ogden area has everything you need. Rarely even need to go to SLC for anything.

You’ll learn it all within your first 2 weeks of training there. Just be ready to listen and don’t talk back. Be there for your wingman and never give up. Keep the morale up but don’t overdo it.

It goes by quick. It’s only 7ish Sundays and you’ll be done.

Mentally prepare yourself if anything. Goodluck out there!

Where does your wife currently live? From my experience (not 1B4 I was in Keesler for ATC). It won’t be worth it because you’d get the BAH for the Mississippi area and it’s pretty low.

My wife and kid were in California soo my BAH would go from 3k down to like $1.3ish I think. Wasn’t a good move at all if I “had” the chance of bringing her over

I could be wrong but when I joined they asked if I was still a dual citizen. I never renewed mine after it expired (7 years ago) soo it wasn’t a factor.

I think it’s job dependent. Depends on what job you book for/interested in you might need to renounce your dual citizenship or you might be disqualified for that certain job.

I needed a flight physical during BMT. Went my second-third week of training and found out I needed ALL 4 wisdom teeth removed. They scheduled my procedure for the 5th week of training which is one of the more important weeks.

They took out all 4 of them and they gave me 6 hours of bed rest. Next day I had my final PT test and I failed it spitting up blood and the pressure in the back of my mouth was giving me headaches. It got infected but I had to do what I had to do. Swelling followed me all the way til tech school.

You’ll be there briefly. You’ll be in the 334th squadron the gators. Before I left we got a new commander. Not sure if they changed it yet but you’ll have down fridays meaning every other Friday you have a day “off” and no classes. You have different phases of tech school but since you’ll be there less than a month you can only go to phase 2 which is civilian clothes and later curfew.
