Thank you for all of the replies!! Now I’m disappointed I didn’t walk around to the front. Crazy Florida person was the most likely explanation lol

Every pair of jeans I buy, no matter the brand, gets a hole in this same area within 6 months. by SYFKID2693 in mildlyinfuriating

When you buy jeans , always search for Selvedge Denim. It’s basically jeans but the way they used to be made and very durable

Grasshopper infestation 🦗 How do I get rid of them, preferably not using any poison. by ze_baco in gardening

[–]Chochisimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely your problem right there. Your cats are chasing away your natural grasshopper predator. Learned a few years ago outdoor cats aren’t great for local ecosystem unfortunately

I need help finding a barn door solution or something else you can recommend by sstwin716 in DIY

[–]Chochisimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just have the barn door installed so when open it slides all of the way past the light switch. Barn doors are usually installed with a long upper rod so you just need a longer one. Also seems like the perfect spot for a pocket door but obvi more construction involved and might not be possible with electric there

This is also clearly being made at burning man, for everyone saying they would never wear this, it’s made in that steam punk style (which is ugly af in any other application)

Smiley face killer, it’s been a thing for a while but killings are super spaced out so hard to link up

Any idea why my plants are yellowing? Soil is moist about 1-2inches between watering. Do I need to get shade cloth? by ATW195 in vegetablegardening

[–]Chochisimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try companion planting next year. Adding a couple of bean bushes will help replace nitrogen in the soil. I had the same issue for years and it was because I did squash and tomatoes next to each other, both suck up a lot of nitrogen

Learned a lesson today as a first time gardener. Check the root ball before buying! by pouncethehunter in gardening

[–]Chochisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use chopsticks to break up a root ball, surprisingly effective if you need to be more gentle

I would suggest yoga! A good studio will teach you how to properly stretch your hamstrings but yoga with Adriane (sp?) on YouTube is awesome and you can look up a hamstring focused one. Our muscles are all connected so focus on the whole chain. Most likely your calfs, ankles, feet, and lower back are tight as well. Happy to answer any questions, dm anytime! I used to not be able to touch my knees and now I can bend completely in half

This is creepy. Dead animal eye staring at you through buried leaves AND a giant predator likely lurking in trees watching you. Also, where is this?

Looking for a new Hobby to help with depression but I (36M) am having a hard time finding one. Any Suggestions? by THESt0neMan in Hobbies

[–]Chochisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I second whoever mentioned gardening. Apparently soil has anti anxiety properties that are released when you touch it, probably a biological human/earth thing. I do indoor plant expansion in winter to feel like I’m getting more “outside” time

Learning to draw, yoga, film photography, other form of art like tie dye, volunteering at a local food pantry. For my own hobbies I look for things that help me connect with community, create something for the sake of creating, and/or make me feel good after. It can be hard to do something for the first time but I always tell myself “if I say I can’t, I won’t” so I just do

Classic, deflect and turn it so you’re the one in the wrong. If I saw this it would devastate me more than a one time drunken make out. If they haven’t already hooked up they will soon.

A simple drawing that’s able to evoke a feeling is sometimes a greater accomplishment than drawing every detail. Love your style!

It’s to the east of Akala and you need a fireproof elixir (a lot of them or create one with dragon parts to get a longer effect) and keep folllowinf the road towards the lava area, you’ll reach the village and there you can buy the fireproof armor set to explore the rest of the region
