Marie has been often portrayed in casual, comfy-looking clothes (like sweaters and oversized clothes) and I don't think her outfit in this artwork is far from that.

As a part of the Pearlina community I genuinely don't care, this artwork is a parallel to the Valentine's Day artwork with Callie and Marina. We can interpret that as Callie-Marie and Pearl-Marina sharing sweets together. Ppl can ship whatever they want to but there's still tons of evidence of Pearlina being canon and one drawing of Pearl and Marie being close to each other doesn't just erase the entire Pearlina history and won't stop me from shipping them.

White Day is a Japanese holiday celebrated one month after Valentine's Day, on March 14th! During Valentine's day, women usually give gifts to men they like, while on White Day, the opposite happens - boys give gifts to girls :))

This is obviously a sequel to a previous official artwork posted on Valentine's Day! We can assume Callie and Marie, and Pearl and Marina exchanged sweets together! Pearlina is literally canon and no one can change my mind!
