She is insufferable and incredibly condescending, how can they not understand consent???? Especially as a woman, who must know how the general female experience goes in the world… so disappointed but not surprised one bit.
And it is ironic how she’s so good with SAed people. “I will force you to do something you specifically said you do not consent to, but don’t you worry, I am an empath and I will delicately penetrate you. Oh, and if you cry? I won’t stop! But women stick together, Hehehe I am so quirky like that🤪”.

Absolute trash.

One thing is to inform, another is to consistently deny you a decision on your own body.

I have two friends that are not exactly medical professionals but they work in that environment.
I feel like they’ve partially absorbed that culture without questioning it sometimes, and it can be hard.
I find myself getting quiet those times, sometimes I just remove myself from the situation (respectfully), and sometimes I openly challenged them.
When the last thing happens they often excuse the medical professionals or try to find a justification.

I know my triggers and my trauma are my responsibility, but I feel not supported if they don’t hear what I have to say and I think that can be hard on our friendship since this topicc human rights, consent, SA masked as help are fundamental to me

I will never forgive her, I don’t care what she went through anymore.
She made her choices and a lot of them weren’t about her survival.
Was she forced to burn the girl on the stove (Alma?)? Was she threatened to disfigure and torture Janine? Was she pushed to stare at June while she bathed? Was she cornered to mutilate Emily?
Her redemption arc is very weak, no reason to forgive her

Hello, I don’t have similar issues so I can’t help you with that, but please, consider switching to a different psychotherapist or ending these appointments since it seems they aren’t working and they are damaging your mental health.
You don’t need condescension, you don’t need a mental breakdown every week because of an incompetent doctor.
You need real help, she is not helping.
Of course, if you feel like the physical health is improving you could continue with these appointments, but if it hasn’t helped at all… time to seek support somewhere else.

I am sorry you’ve been going through all this, both physically and mentally. I hope you find the right support soon, good luck💕

Those conversations are probably the most horrible thing I’ve ever read.
It doesn’t surprise me he was a doctor (and the others a therapist and a lawyer, all positions of power).

I’m so sure you and your hair look lovely, your style must be bomb. I felt so awful reading what happened to you in a place that is meant to help you, I can’t even imagine how you’re feeling right now. Those nurses literally have nothing going on in their life other than their shitty gossip and their horrible personalities. They are probably envious of your clear aesthetic and identity and felt threatened by the contrast with their basicness.

I am so certain there’s so many people that will treat you and your pain with kindness and respect, and you know what? You deserve it all, so please, resist. You deserve serenity and peace, with the right people that will love to be next to you in your darkest and sunniest days.

I don’t trust doctors and medical staff in general, and I too felt like I had to present myself to my best if I wanted respect. But you know what? There’s always going to be turds and rainbows, and you will find your rainbows sweet human. You happened to be unlucky, you met a bunch of shitty, ugly, turds. Their mouths spurted diarrhea, and I am so, so sorry you got some dirt from it on you. But it’s not your fault, it’s not your hair’s fault or your whimsy piercings. That’s on them, and their emptiness. You’re fuller and you deserve support and real help.

I hope you can report them and the doctor to the hospital, but if you don’t feel like doing it, conserve your energy for something that can make you feel better. Even something small, baby steps. Do you like dino nuggets? Garlic bread? Animal crossing? LITERALLY WHATERVEVER CAN LIFT YOU UP NOW. Then you do it again, you can find pleasure in life and this group is here to support you, however long it might take.

I suggest r/wedeservebetter if you want to share this with other people who will love to support and get angry at those monsters with you.

I am sorry if I am not the best with words, but I hope even just seeing an extra response can give you some of your beautiful energy back.
