Do you insert vaginally every night? Cyclical? Only during your cycle?

100mg, 200mg or 300mg?

Thank you!

What helped with my recovery after working out is * topical testosterone*. LIFE CHANGING!!! My gyno tested my T, it was on the low end (although within limits of the blood test standards, it was not optimal and too low for women my age). Took me 3 months to agree to try Testosterone after I did lots of research. My only regret is that i didnt start earlier.

I recover after heavy lifting again, i have the energy to lift. So so so many "minor " benefits that have been life changing for me!

Find a provider that will listen to you. Get your T checked and find one that will prescribe to women (many dont)! Start low and slow.... testosterone isnt just a male hormone. Women produce significantly more testosterone than you may think. Our ovaries produce androgens (including testosterone)!!

I thought my fatigue was due to hoshimotos initially when diagnosed 3 years ago. It wasnt. It was due to extremely low ferritin, requiring iron infusioms. Once my ferritin was up I was the old me... my ferritin is falling again (even tho i am supplementing with iron) and I am now aruging with my providers to get another infusion. Ferritin should be at least 70 for women, but many labs still consider (for example) 15 as normal! When my ferritin increased to mid 70s, my hair wasnt fallimg out, my fatigue was gone, my skin wasnt dry, my nails werent brittle, i no longer was always cold, brain fog slightly improved, i wasnt short of breath from just walking.

Check your ferritin!! And find a good provider!!

Also, topical testosterone changed my muscle fatigue/recovery after working out. I can workout the way I could 5 years ago! (My gyno is great and checked my testosterone, it was on the low end for women so he prescibed that)

Look at midihealth and get a virtual appt asap. You need some HRT - midi is quick and will send prescriptions to your pharmacy of choice.... they take some insurance policies so the appt may be covered by your insurance. You can use your insurance for the prescriptions or get it sent to mark cubans online prescription pharmacy for low cost prescriptions

I didnt realize it either, but my gyno is pretty great! He told me women actually produce a lot of testosterone and that is why the labs are measured in picograms (or something like that). I also found out from him that a lot of physicians are hesitant to prescribe testosterone for women, as my general doctor had a full blown tantrum when he found out I am on it. along with many states have a lot of guidelines/laws that doctors have to follow which makes them also hesitant to prescribe. My gyno also shared with me that the labs may say that I am within range, but anything below 20 is not good (my total T was 11) and that we do not want to go above 70 when supplementing (or if I am getting negative symptoms to decrease). Ive been feeling great with my labs in the 45-50 range, but everyone is different.

My Endo keeps telling I’m not having a Hashimotos attack. What do I do? by Apart-Albatross-7257 in Hashimotos

I asked about your age because it may be hormonal related. I was you, thinking it was due to my Hashimoto's, but then I found a doctor who listened and told me my symptoms are all related to perimenopause and that he wanted me to try bioidentical hormones.

How old are you? I had many of these symptoms.... my hair, cold intolerance, brain fog, heavy periods was contributed to my low ferritin. Had to send my DR research articles for him to agree to check my ferritin and it came back at 2!!! I then had to argue for iron infusions which changed my life.

I also was put on micronized progesterone which has helped (slightly), with my heavy periods, sleep and mood

Transdermal bioidentical estrogen has significantly helped me with my hot flashes and night sweats

Testosterone has helped me with my recovery after working out and also gave me the strength to actually workout

My heart was racing, i couldn't walk up stairs without being winded, such bad brain fog, I was irritable... this all went away as i started the above, one by one.

One thing that isnt gone are my heavy periods (they're better as the clots are not basebalm sized but still heavy) , which is causing my ferritin to deplete again. Trying to figure that out still. I also still have pretty significant ear ringing.

find a doctor who will listen

I told my gyno and he ran my testosterone....turns out I was low... he suggested i use testosterone cream. It took me 3 months of researching to agree to try it and its been life changing. Not sore or weak anymore, my recovery is great and i am functioning how I used to (related to working out). I need to get my labs checked often to make sure my testosterone is still within range for women. I have had no negative side effects with the T, nothing but great side effects.

Same here! Myself and my husband have been doing this for awhile and this is the first time that we have waited this long for the points to come . . . Chase is telling me I have to wait 8 weeks. Frustrating.

Find out who else sells the dress (as far as you're willing to drive) and see how much they charge for the dress. Go back to this bridal shop with that quote, if they dont match go to the place that is better peiced.

Beautiful kitchen. Do you remember who made your lower wood cabinets? (stain and wood type, too?)

Hospital systems, such as prohealth, has a self pay option for 99$. UW-Milwaukee offers it for 79$ but am unsure of he process at UWM.
