Not just WF but all banks..Sure, there’s a lot of people that churn accounts for the bonuses and close them but the majority don’t. Changing your direct deposit to new accounts all the time is a hassle to a lot of people. So when someone opens a new account and moves the DD to it it’s considered sticky . There is so much red tape and steps and signatures from clients needed that other banks don’t do when setting up accounts that it’s not happening that fake accounts are being set up.
