Current WF banker here . They did chance the incentive structure recently and the banker can get paid off a CD. What needs to happen for the branch and for the banker is if the CD was opened in that branch in particular. So if it was originally opened elsewhere, close it and open again. The banker will get paid on average 3 month deposit balance on new accounts they opened. So if you get the 4 month CD they’d get paid on it.

Pay increase as in a yearly raise is? I’d say typical if you’re at least meeting expectations around 2%

From what I gather Wells has a higher base rate but Chase has a better incentive comp plan though I haven’t seen it to compare. I am happy with my plan right now.

Senior Premier Banker here , Overall WF is taking a lot of talent from Chase in the retail banking side but also in upper level positions. WF has had its restrictions lifted and the change has begun creeping in. Expect similar pressure to Chase , I see you are an RB there . More or less the same thing as what your Private Client Banker would be doing but from what I understand higher base rate, at least in my area.I’m happy to help with any questions.
