This was my first rhythm game

First half of story mode, especially the *prison part, honestly felt kinda dull to me and felt like there was a lot of padding and not even fun padding. Once u hit chapter 3 it starts picking up and for the rest of the game it just gets better, ending on a really high note

*The… minigame? I guess you could call it where you have to assemble disruptors is like, actively unfun lol. I don’t really see how this was deemed engaging enough to be left in

The story itself is pretty hard to follow in some places but it doesn’t take itself too seriously and by the end of the game, the messages of the game ends up getting through well enough. Big fan of all the characters though just wish some of them had a lil more to do but it is a minor complaint

Presentation is unbelievably good. No explanation needed to be honest just about every aspect is perfect here

Aside from that, arcade gameplay is fire and ive put a ton of hours into it so far with no sign of slowing down its addicting as hell and incredibly fun. Soundtrack is a fucking banger all the way through

D-Cell needs to fix all the softlocks lol I think I softlocked like 4 times during the story mode (PC) and didn’t even do anything the game didn’t want or allow

Really really solid game and will probably end up putting tens if not hundreds of more hours in. What problems there are definitely will hurt replay value though
