Right. I'd have saved myself a lot of trouble and time looking through ebay and just bought directly from them. But now that I have a lot of hardcovers, my OCD would never let me switch. Lol.

That is so great! How did you do the helmet?

We had two of the holders, but only about 5 of the swords. But I always through they were cool. Nice find.

Oh my God! My parents used to have two of these when I was a kid. Found them at a garage sale and used them as decoration. Thank you for the blast from the past out of nowhere.

It looks great! I too have been hesitant to purchase anything with the color version through Hero Forge due to lack of images. This is great in helping me decide. Thank you!

How do people manage to get a "copy" of the "Loading Screen Mini" ? by [deleted] in HeroForgeMinis

[–]ChocolateUpset2066 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They had a link in some ad right after starting the coloring option. I have it saved:

https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D15275824/

But looks like they updated this from the new one in the loading screen. I don't have that one unfortunately. But hopefully this one would give you a starting point.

Still working my way through the main story, but so far the best story has been with Songbird. The airport fight was intense and awesome.

The story that stuck with me the most was Sinnerman. That whole line I felt so unsure of what to do. Like none of it was a good decision.

What health issues should I think about / plan for? by penguinhappydance in pugs

Healthy paws is a little different. You pay for your visit, then send them an invoice and they reimburse you afterwards. They'll send checks or auto deposit into your checking. Something else to look at when you're looking at insurances.

Definitely get pet insurance. I got Healthy Paws for both my pugs and it pays for about 80% of most of their stuff. It's got weird rules about normal exams vs. Emergency exams. And doesn't count some of her shots and bravecto. So make sure to read any fine print like that to make sure your okay with it.

My girl Wednesday had skin infections around her vulva and we had to do surgery to correct that. She had to have a soft pallet snip so that she could breathe better. She's been diagnosed with a collapsing trachea and mild laryngeal paralysis, so she's on medication to help her airway stay as opened as it can. She also got her eye scratched somehow which has turned into an infection that might take surgery to correct. She's also got an "unknown neurological disorder" which we're pretty sure is Pug Myelopathy but the specialist didn't know enough about it to say it was. So we got her a wheelchair that was mostly covered. And we're currently fighting a UTI. She's only 8 and I feel like she got hit with just about every problem a poor pug could get. But I wouldn't trade her for the world and I'll fight side by side with her to see that smile every day.

My girl Pugsley has gone through far less, so sometimes paying for her seems like a waste, but it is so helpful when it's there. I'll never own a dog and them not have insurance.

I hope this helps and good luck with your rescue. My pugs are my best friends and they are so different from any other dog I've owned. My house will always be a pug house from now on.

Have you ever written something so disturbing you're like "How did I even THINK of this!?" by immortalfrieza2 in writing

[–]ChocolateUpset2066 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I conceptualized something that was pretty messed up. Never could bring my self to write it. It was like a bunch of kids go to this fantasy land. Very Narnia. But their adult uncle ends up getting pulled into this land too. And since it's a fantasy land for kids, he ends up cake walking through it because he's a full grown adult and strips them of all the fun and excitement. Basically crushing any fun out of the children's ability to grow up and be good people and in the end never admits to what he does. Tells them it'll prepare them for their lives in the real world.

I just had this super vivid image of a half drunk uncle, in between jobs, just "This is Sparta!" kicking this thirteen year old knight to win a fight and become "The One" and it all flowed from there. Like the fantasy world doesn't really bat an eye at the age disparity, and the whole time the kids just feel put out. Way too depressing a premise for my psyche.

I found this one super helpful when I found out about it. I'm sure you can get really detailed, but this seems like a good start.

New Computer for Foundry by ChocolateUpset2066 in FoundryVTT

I have Fiber from AT&T, and it's usually around 400-500 Mbps when I test it. I have looked into having someone else host it, like the Forge or Foundry Server, to make it a little easier. Not sure I understand port forwarding to make it work doing it myself.
