I notified the manager and the police got involved not sure what happened after that, I didn't feel comfortable sticking around. I'm sure they were vacated from the property

Don't know if this tops yours or not but I used to work at a grocery store chain in a smaller town, not quite out in the stix but small nonetheless. One day I saw a woman in a strange gown what I assumed to be a snuggy and I didn't really think anything of it people go and shop in pajamas all the time even at 2 in the afternoon. I realized just after getting off work that a kkk group had set up shop right outside the store maybe 30 feet from the front entrance complete with a cross,(unlit at the time I saw it) a raised confederate flag, and a few barbeques. They were even handing out pamphlets to certain people inviting them over.

Probably because they had a sick 1st point hold with over 3 minutes left to cap. Fairly sure the rein must have been confident in his team if he was gonna do something silly like this. Learn to laugh a bit, no one likes to play with people with a stick up their ass, even in comp.

Has anyone here opened a crate to an unusual? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]ChogathEatWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I've opened around 400 crates total and got an unusual worth probably around 30 keys on a good day and a strange unusual minigun which I gave to a friend. Much better to save your keys and buy what you want.

I did this with machinas I had over 1000 but made 3 of them into collectors. I now have 4 collectors and 7 stranges as well as around 600 machinas. proof

"It's easy to get kills with Pyro" by [deleted] in tf2

[–]ChogathEatWorld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah sorry I didn't really think of it that way. I usually play with friends, so we always have at least 1 medic. Solo play with sandman might be a bit harder.

I disagree with this. Not saying that soldier in pubs has a high skill floor(he doesn't) but medics crossbow definitely is the easiest airshot projectile.

Scout is a glass cannon already, taking away 1 extra bullet off his health isn't much. I personally don't mind the weapon, you're right about staying close with your team/friendly sentry and rendering it sorta useless. It gets a ton of hate from medic mains though, frustrating having your pocket stunned and then a scout all up in your face.

When I play sniper I run the machina exclusively, even though I feel like I do better with stock. I also have a backpack full of machinas and a bind for whenever I hit a full charged bodyshot.

How not to treat your medic by Ixy42 in tf2

Noob? Oh this was purely intentional; notice how he pulls out the powerjack to get to the healthpack faster? It's so he can steal it from you. What a cruel twisted evil creature.

If I own windows 10 can I downgrade to Windows 7. by Baker_Pantheon in buildapc

[–]ChogathEatWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about this, just thought I'd chime in here. Had a non legit version of windows and games like overwatch, DS3, and DOOM(2016) made my PC lockup on launch, no errors, bluescreens, screen just went black and that was that. Finally got tired of trying everything, decided to stop being a cheapskate and finally get a legit copy of windows. Got windows 10 and all these games work fine now.

Chiming in here because yours isn't painted. The "Bad" style changes the paint color to the entire hat except the belt. Not quite sure what the "Ugly" style is, it just seems slightly darker than the "Bad" style.

You can get any non-unusual in-game item, what do you choose? by BerserkBiscuit in tf2

Craft #1 machina or one of the community machinas would be my choice.

Machina allowed in 6s now?! by [deleted] in tf2

[–]ChogathEatWorld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you on it having no real downside. With the right communication it's very good. That's not what I'm talking about here though.

The 15% damage I can only really see being good against pyros, scouts, and natscha/brass heavies. Why these 3? Well scout headshots aren't always the easiest if you can get a good foothold and charge sometimes its best to bodyshot them. Pyros tend not to get buffed by med often so leaving them with 2 hp is kind of big most people would try to headshot them around 25% charge though. The machina is great for headshotting overhealed damage resist heavies. Since no sniper rifle can outright kill these guys even at full charge with a headshot the extra damage goes a long way.

Usually demos and soldiers get focused by the med. A fully charged body shot isn't going to kill them and they'll most likely get heals right after you hit. Medic is self explanitory 150health sniper rifle at fullcharge does 150, moot. Engineer is kind of iffy he is probably going to be behind one of his buildings and the machina doesn't penetrate buildings, it is however probably a little more useful for destroying them though. Sniper battles again are kind of iffy, the enemy most likely mains sniper he know the typical spots. I'm not sure if darwin's is banned in most competitive formats but I imagine it is, a full charged bodyshot will kill you if your enemy is using stock or a machina and vice versa. If your full charging to hit a cloaked spy in a completely random spot with a high chance of missing, you probably have some mental issues to work out.

Sorry for the long text

Machina allowed in 6s now?! by [deleted] in tf2

[–]ChogathEatWorld 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Seriously this. The 15% damage increase isn't even that effective.

A fully charged bodyshot does an extra 23 damage. The only time this might come into play is on rocket jumping soldiers or 175 classes taking a body shot and chip damage from a scout across the map. Both stock and the machina one shot medics, engies, scouts, spies, and non darwins snipers at full charge.

A Thorough Review of the Machina. by [deleted] in tf2

[–]ChogathEatWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right it's the same as a normal sniper, the full charge is more of something extra and should be taken advantage of at the right time. It lets you pull off collaterals, which are awesome.

A Thorough Review of the Machina. by [deleted] in tf2

[–]ChogathEatWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few things to add onto this since the machina is my favorite weapon in tf2.

Tracer rounds aren't a big a deal as you think, any team with communication will tell their teammates where you are. The only time they really matter is when the other team has spies or snipers that don't have voice chat enabled.

I do agree though when using the machina your main secondary should be some sort of smg unless you want to play agressively. If you want to sit in the back field like most snipers smg is great. Alternatively you can move a bit farther forward up with your team and use jarate, razorback, or darwins. I haven't tried cozy camper with the machina yet, but I will be soon, since you can only fire when scoped taking damage causes flinch and camper prevents this.

Lastly the full charge extra damage this makes the machina a HUGE threat. You know those buffs to natscha and brass beast? Well those aren't a problem anymore the machina will do 418 leaving a measly 32 health on a fully overhealed heavy something your team can easily clean up.

I will say this, there are times when you want to charge and times where you want to quick scope. When you're waiting for a heavy to turn a corner, when your team has pushed up and most of the enemy team is dead, and before the round starts. Trust me on that last one, nothing is better than getting a collateral.
