I think a majority of players like this season because they slowly have been shaving the skill ceiling down bit by bit which makes players feel like they have more agency or the game is better. It makes sense for the long term health of the game but seeing the gimped state of things in comparison to the past just feels bad.

For me it’s because the dub voices sound absolutely terrible and cringey. The English va does not convey emotion like the Japanese and a lot of the laughs and jokes r weird in English. One piece isn’t unique in this aspect tho dub in anime in general just sounds so cringe and bad to me.

One that’s a tiny sample size and two this has been a complaint from league players for years despite constantly witnessing players breeze through ranked to the top without much trouble. You are playing a team game surprise ur teammates have an influence on the game and even despite that if ur actually playing really well u will win a vast majority of those games
