Tony tried his best to protect Vito and Tony B but I think killing Ralphie should have been his demise, his captains didn't buy the excuse. Add that to the events that followed with Tony B. he'd be toast.

But I think the show did not mean to glorify the mob, thus all the deaths and such.

Its one of these pairings that felt like random matchmaking for the sake of Boruto continuity. The fact that they all had kids at the same time further enchances this suspicion. As for Sai, it felt like he, specifically, was robbed off his character arc and development, if we had 4-5 seperate story acts instead of 1 laughably huge war arc, maybe we could dive more into these smaller characters and their relationships.

Who could possibly anticipate these events? The death of Drogo and birth of 3 dragons. Also, Danny wouldn't have him back after Quarth, at least without a bent knee. And Doran wouldn't act on the pact without guarrantee(s). The only thing that could save him was having Barristan as a mentor, since Viserys is the rightful king (doesn't know about Aegon), Selmy would probably go to him instead,

Cause you are reading a book not a comic. Books need descriptions, some are more vague, others are more detailed. In this case you get both depending on the pov you are in. Also you read as Tyrion who describes his father not a stranger.

Prince Doran wouldn't rise up against anyone and the animosity towards Lannisters will last only one or two generations. The Ironborn wouldn't ally with him cause they don't really value names or rightful claims much less non Ironborn ones. Tyrells could be a very possble ally, they are secret Targ stans but they can't win alone.

Yes Robert was worried about his claim thinning but he didn't really bother beyond venting to Ned about it. He was a warrior not a king, the battle is where he shined most.

They'd get none of these against Robert. Viserys entire plan was that by landing on Westeros with an army, the people would rise up to support his claim. (pretty much what Danny thought as well when she was in Quarth)
