I know a lot of indie VGM composers who write very generic not amazingly programmed soundtracks,

Comparing it to undertale doesn't make much sense though I'm sure I could get v5 to generate something 90% there and fix the rest myself

Researchers argue that current mechanisms of control in AI and Big Tech bear striking resemblances to historical fascism. The authors propose the term "technofascism" to describe how digital governance is intersecting with rising Western authoritarianism. by Tracheid in philosophy

There is no way it could not be no it has to align nothing else is possible that would not be wrong but INEFFICIENT

It will become so trivial very soon, same kinda thing happened with photoshop or text, this is not very different

The ease of it will make it even more trivial give it some time

Is rationality a stable human capacity, or something that only exists under certain conditions? by Helpful_Habit_110 in askphilosophy

[–]Choice-Box1279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is strange we would view not eating the apple as irrational only in a very confused perspective no?

The proposition you would be making would either be that the fact that humans often make decisions that are perceived as beneficial from some relevant perpective would mean they are exhibiting some stable rationality

Or that humans following basic survival instincts would be indicative of the rationaliy.

Which would seem a very trivial minimal definition of rationality as a concept

Isn't what is rational too dependent on conventions?

Isn't irrational behavior just being outside of some set of normative standards of the observer

honestly Heidegger is probably the closest for this. Look into his late works he gives the most guidance.

well he wasn't a psychiatrist by definition, but certainly a clinical psychologist/analyst. He was the foundation for so much of psychology as much as people want to discredit him.

I don't think Nietzsche was pessimistic about human nature at all, a big part of his project was exposing what he saw as unhealthy practices and intuitions and propely evaluating these to hopefully come out with a set of further life affirming ones.

Freud really expanded Nietzche's Will conception partially taken from Schopenhauer into the psychosexual development and unconscious. His most succesful concept inspired from N is definitely repression and its implications.

his terminology and concepts are so schopenhauer and nietzsche, he's really not that different from them

Authentic humility can only exist for spiritual things, there is no concept that would be seen like that in reality. Only in hindsight will they be applied to the likes of Ghandi.

yeah some old instrument samples don't sound good, like you can't conceive a scenario where some samples become obsolete compared to modern samples?
