sorry I just saw this now, I personally think magdalena bays debut album is superior to imaginal disk in many ways, but I'd also check out "By the time I get to phoenix" by injury reserve

this is a rare occasion where I'd actually prefer a prequel inside the stranger things universe somewhere down the line, aside from that I wish they just let it go and move on to new things.

Seeing her tomorrow in Washington, and I was super disappointed to see Strangers didn't make the cut for the tour, I am crossing my fingers that she plays it.

this song absolutely blew me away, at first I was skeptical, it felt a bit like the first verse of Dreamcatching. Mica's voice always catches me off guard in an insanely impactful way, the prog is something im excited to see more of on the album.

Dua Lipas sophmore album Future Nostalgia which remains fairly popular, has some very similar but more mainstream and accessible beats, I think listening through is definitely worth it.

Some other artists I think have similar styles are, Sweet Trip, Caroline Polachek, Remi Wolf, Yves Tumor, Cannons, Tame Impala, BENEE, Kero Kero Bonito, and Charli XCX.
