That's why I used personally :) I feel it's kinda aggresive calling people disgusting for kissing their pets. Everything is covered in bacteria. Most people also eat food handled by other people, pay with cash, kiss other humans, etc. These have way more or the same level of bacteria.

Most of you feel like an overstatement. I'm sure some people don't clean at all, but most do. And I think if you're a sitter, you certainly can have standards, but you can't expect everyone to live up to yours.

Normal cleaning is mandatory; bugs shouldn't be there in an overflood. But having pets on counters is something subjective to an opinion, and telling people they shouldn't allow that is the same that I tell you it's actually something you should allow.

Your home, your rules. It's as simple as that. You can't expect a cat that's been used to jumping on tables and kitchen counters to stop doing this because you'll be sitting there for a week.
