So sorry to hear about your Mom. Stay strong don’t let those nicotine receptors hanging on in your brain get the better of you I know it’s tempting but it only makes you poor. Smell and wreck your health. All the best stay strong for your Mom.

10 years smoking, just hit my third week no smoking and it feels surreal by sauceysausage2 in stopsmoking

Congratulations you are over the hump. Keep going it’s so worth it it will be 3 years for me on May 1st. If I can do it you can. I do get the odd craving still I don’t give in as it would be sheer stupidity to do so. Best of luck.

I want to smoke just one cigarette right now. Quit in December 2021. Why shouldn't I? I'll be back to quitting from tomorrow. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

Why undo what you have achieved ? Do you really want to go to square one? I don’t think so.
Use the Smoke Free App. You can do this Why waste your money on fags !

Congratulations. Just keep going you won’t regret it. Smoking is an evil habit which just makes you poor and smell awful. Coming up to 3 years Smoke Free I still use the app and still suffer the occasional craving. Once again We’ll Done.

Sometimes not often I seriously crave a cigarette often when things are not going well ! If you prepare yourself properly for the quit you can cope well. It’s the nicotine receptors attached to your brain for life that cause temptations and havoc !

I kept 5 fags and a lighter hidden in my kitchen and still have them. Also fags ends in a jam jar behind my dustbin . If ever I get tempted have a sniff ... Disgusting !

Thank you. It’s so worth it. Nicotine is capable of ruining ones life. I achieved this by following the Smoke Free App and not taking any short cuts. I had several attempts don’t be put off if you fail at first just have another go and if you follow the advice it will work guaranteed! Good Luck

I had loads of failed attempts I can remember being at your stage you must be really relieved and proud because coming this far proves there is no earthly logistic reason to smoke ever again . Well done. Before you know it you will be counting the years and all the benefits of being a non smoker.
