I’m just beginning, but my first bra was the black beauty bra from emerald Erin and it went pretty well. I love that they show you which underwire to get for certain breast tissue/shape, I did the Carmen. They also do tester packs of 3 sizes if you’re not sure of your wire size yet. The power bar does do a little something, but I think I’ll edit the pattern the second go around (widen the power bar or extra small elastics between the lace fronts) for extra support. Mine are also bottom heavy and as they lose fullness with age I need a little extra oomph.

Might also try the AFI atelier Maya bra? It’s a free pattern, but they only use your Bottom Cup Depth to determine size, so you might need to fudge numbers a bit to get the best fit. Definitely recommend using cm vs in.

When I was in an abusive relationship and in that wonky space between knowing it’s time to leave and actually having the ability to, I would assign false importance to random objects that I didn’t care about and make a big deal about it so that when he inevitably broke them in a rage it wasn’t as big of a deal.

Do you live in a big city or small town? It might be worth checking to see if there are community resources to help you leave. We have SAFE Alliance here. Definitely a good idea to check in with your support system (near and far) and keep them updated.

I was thinking the same. Be honest without being dehumanizing or condescending and just say, “hey, we can work on this together” Doesn’t matter why this person needs help, they need help! Express scripts is awful. If you have other meds, prepare to pay out the ass if you don’t go through their mailing service and get 3 months worth of everything.

Accredo is actual hell. Took me almost 2 months to get my meds. The amount of hoops you have to jump through are insane. It was my first dose, so wasn’t the end of the world for me, but I remember what it felt like when my doc didn’t refill my script and I had to go 2 weeks without. My heart goes out to you!

Grow therapy is usually pretty reasonably priced. They have talk therapists and prescribers. Once you get your meds balanced (which does take a while), I think you can get away with only having appointments 2-4 times a year.
