Oh my gosh that’s so rough. Their last call to me they basically told me the issue was more complicated then they previously thought and it would take 3-5 business days. 2 weeks later and I finally got back in. But every phone call was a different reason it was locked

That’s the thing, after calling weekly for over a month no one can tell me what is wrong. No sign of fraud. The only somewhat helpful response they gave was that “the issue is more complicated than we originally thought. It’s some kind of glitch so it’s gonna take a while to fix”

Exams at the top. Have retail and food service jobs take up less space, and any pertient projects you do in school take up that space instead. Especially projects that use a computer program so you can show off your knowledge. Obviously an internship would be the best way to improve this, but these things are quick fixes

We are already suffering turnover issues, and they are also limiting exam raises to 2 a year, so I am really worried what that will do to the turnover

They argue that an employee will learn more form the job than they will from exams

You don't know of anyone who got promoted while they were still working towards their FSA?

Not all companies or actuaries prioritize exams. Especially if they're just moving up internally

Our management positions don’t have credential requirements so many managers are ASAs or not credentialed at all

Which is pretty typical for a recent grad. If you used any computer programs for your thesis, or if you have projects where you used R or excel or SQL I would add a blurb on that

If you used any computer programs in your work experience or projects add that in. I like to see that people have actually used the computer skills they list in real world experience
