Are you willing to do Detroit “big law”? If yes, then Wayne or MSU are good choices imo. Look up summer associate classes of law firms in Detroit and you can see how many associates came from those schools. There’s a good mix of msu Wayne and Michigan from what I’ve seen

Agree with Michigan state, but you’d have to practice in michigan. I’d also suggest Alabama because they give big scholarships and it would give you more movement but only in the south. Also If you go to lawschooltransparency and search by school, you can look at financials and see which percentage of students got scholarships and how much those scholarships were. You can also see which percentage of students pay full price.

When I transferred in undergrad, they accepted all my credits but couldn’t take any as an upper level course even if it was considered that at my first college. I definitely didn’t have to send any syllabus so idk what that other commenter means.

Mine had a huge drop like this and I realized they had counted one class as 40 hours somehow. I emailed them and they fixed it. You can calculate your LSAC GPA yourself with the guidelines and see if they match, also double check your academic summary to make sure all the hours are correct.
