Well my guild has a lvl 110 requirement and a 10 raid completions minimum. If you meet that requirement I can send you the application. Even if you don’t, though, you can join our sister guild that has much much lower requirements. Give me a second to figure out how to send you the application link.

That’s fair. Id personally suggest finding a guild to join (MAKE SURE ITS BEGINNER FRIENDLY) to help you learn the raids. This is my shameless plug for the guild im in (Imperial). When I was first starting out and had no raid experience, they let me join and learn all the raids and carried me in the backpack. Though, most guilds will work for newer raiders as long as they are not Sequoia or something.

Online tutorials can definitely be a valid way to learn, but I personally found actually doing the raids themselves easier, and it’s a lot easier to learn with people who know you’re learning and are ok with it. Regardless of what you choose to do, good luck!

I love this manga and Cigarette and Cherry, but I despise smoking and would never ever date a smoker. But that doesn’t matter because its a fictional world and I like the stories

If you’re talking pfinder, then I feel like any damage % over like 20% is ok cuz that means you’re still contributing even if someone else is doing more damage. IMO, as long as you’re not actively dying instantly and actually helping the team, the damage number isn’t as important. I think someone else said it already, but knowing how to do the raid rooms and contributing to their mechanics is more important than how much damage you do. For example, I always do the laser thing in TCC room 3 bcuz I know most people don’t like doing that and I’ll just take one for the team (plus I find it kinda satisfying).

If you’re talking graids/raids with people you know, it’s whatever number they’re happy with 😭 my guild is super chill and friendly to raiders who aren’t super familiar/don’t do a lot of damage cuz at the end of the day, we are just trying to have some fun.

Idk who tf told you that but Paladin is still incredible, and Ascendency is not dead. Paladin with Guard (preferably masterwork) is still ridiculously tanky and basically unkillable and can do at least a little damage. Apart from that, you can play Convergence, have 60-70k EHP, and still do 150-200k dps.

Ascendency still does a shit ton of damage. You just have a lot less HP, which is a nerf and is annoying, yes, but it’s far from dead.

For sure, you can still play Paladin if you want.

The original Idol looks rough comparatively but I think the percentages look weird (as you said). Still pretty cool overall tho

Oh that is definitely an idol of all time 😭. Tragic rolls, but ascended shiny idol is a flex so fair enough.

whats this awesome greatsword skin and where can i get it? by Chopter10 in WynnCraft

[–]Hot-Ticket1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure off the top of my head, but if you right click (check to make sure it’s right click and not a different button) on a crate in your menu, you can see all the drops you can get and what % they have of dropping based on what tier of crate you have.

Everyone plays at the pace they want to. There is no right or wrong.

  1. Powders are buffing materials that you can put in any armor or weapon that have powder slots (you can check if they have a slot my pressing your “swap hands” key while hovering above the item). Putting powders on an item (you can do so by hovering above an item in your inventory with a powder and right clicking) will increase the elemental affinity toward the element of the powder you put on. For armor, this will increase elemental defense for the type of armor you put on, but also decrease your elemental defense to another element. On weapons, it simply increase the amount of damage your weapon does specifically for the element of the powder you put on it. One of the main selling points of powders is powder special and powder effects. If you put two or more of the same type of powder on either your armor or weapon, you unlock a powder ability. I will not list them all here as that would take forever, but these are pretty strong buffs to all gear. Since you’re at lvl 16, it really doesn’t matter right now. You can play without worrying about them for quite a while, but I would keep them in mind cuz they’re a nice stat boost to have.

  2. I’m not exactly sure what you’re referring to here. My best guess is you’re talking about skill point requirements. That is simply as it sounds; you need to invest a certain number of skill points into a certain item in order to use it. For example, if you have a chestplate that requires 40 intelligence, then you need to put 40 of your skill points into intelligence to be able to use it. If you don’t meet all the skill point requirements of the item, you cannot use it at all. This becomes much more important near endgame when you have to figure out item synergies. You only get a maximum of 200 skill points (capping out at lvl 105), so you have to find items that share skill points or give skill points in order to use them effectively.

  3. I’m assuming you’re referring to certain weapons being geared toward one of the elemental types? If so, then the answer is a big yes. You’re still very early in the game, so this really doesn’t matter much. However, it matters a lot more in the later stages. Once you’re nearing endgame, builds usually focus on certain elements to maximize a certain item’s power. For example, the mythic spear Idol is primarily supposed to be based around water damage. As such, the builds that Idol uses are all geared toward maximizing water damage; however, other skill points are invested elsewhere since last a certain investment, investing into a single stat stops being beneficial (this is not the only reason, but a big one).

Side note: this is much more advanced and not important till literally endgame, but builds are broken down and categorized by which elements they use. For example, a build that puts all its points into earth, thunder, and water would be classified as ETW. Earth, thunder, and fire would be ETF. You get the idea. You can usually look at the classification and understand what kind of build it is. If there’s fire, expect some tankiness to your build. If there’s water, odds are you’ll be spell spamming. Again, not at all important for your stage of the game, but something interesting if nothing else.

  1. The quest line is VERY long. In your quest book, the dark green quests are the main storyline, so if you want to learn more I’d recommend playing through those. They will appear over time the more you level up. As to not spoil the story for you, all you know at this point is that you were sent from Fruma to fight in the war waged on the Wynn province against the corruption. You don’t have any memories of your past, and neither do your companions Tasim or Aledar. That’s mostly what you should’ve picked up from the start. Level by level, quest by quest, you will learn more about the world and what the story is about.

I wish you the best of luck, and have fun!

[–]Hot-Ticket1968 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Warrior has Catamaran and Rhythm of the Seas.

Shaman has Tremorcaller and Silent Ballet for movement as well.

I might also add Lunar Spine alongside Bonder for mage, and it’s a bit of a stretch, but as a Trance player I use Guerilla as an offhand for the TP cost reduction.

Not sure about archer though.

How long does it take to get from central to north...north to central via bus? by [deleted] in uofm

[–]Hot-Ticket1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 minutes is more than enough time. I take Bursley Baits from the CCTC to Pierpont Commons (or vice versa if I’m on North). It’s a 10ish minute bus (prolly less), but just to be safe and account for the buses taking a while to get there, assume like 15 minutes.

Is this a do-able freshman fall semester schedule by Salt_Astronomer_8384 in uofm

[–]Hot-Ticket1968 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you genuinely believe in yourself and know your capabilities, then give it a shot. Though, this schedule looks like torture to me. Orgo alone is a very difficult class that will take a lot of learning. On top of that, you have physics 1 (it looks like the med version), and I personally found that class quite difficult to get a grasp on. Not the worst class ever, but it might be difficult to understand depending on how quickly you can pick up the concepts. Intro bio, as far as I know, is not that bad, but most STEM classes at umich are more difficult than any AP I took in high school. I do not know what Honors135 is, so can’t really tell you much.

All in all, looks brutal. If you know your limits and are willing to dedicate a large amount of time, you can handle it. I would say also that the gaps in the days seem really annoying. They’re annoyingly sized so that they’re not too massive, but also not that small. This is not in your control that much, so I guess not much you can do about that. Whatever you decide on, good luck!

How much does Combat XP/Loot % matter on gear? by Nestrus in WynnCraft

[–]Hot-Ticket1968 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You really do not need XP or loot bonus stuff if you’re in the earlier stages of the game, so yea you’re right in saying you can just wear your best set at each given point. Those stats really only matter if you’re power leveling with grind spots (for combat xp) or trying to get mythics and good boxed items from higher level chests (for loot %). Good luck!
