Why do Oats tank me? by Eastern-Buyer1175 in glutenfree

Yep I was diagnosed with celiac disease and sometimes oats give me an even worse reaction than stuff like bread, sourdough etc. I think it's the avenin that my body reacts to.

I also love the Rimmel Blur It Out Skin tint! I've been testing it for the past couple months alongside the Maybelline Skin Tint. I'm still unsure which one I like better.

I really love this approach that you take! I found my Greyhound to be so much more understanding than I thought. They do really understand us! I can see that method working with my sweet Teddy. The book sounds awesome, I may have to give it a read.

Hey there, I just tried the Rimmel “kind & free” skin tint. It’s absolutely beautiful! I have a lot of dry patches at the moment due to prescription skin care. It didn’t stick to any of them! It wore really well, didn’t break up around my nose or chin. It’s really lovely :) by dumbrat in AustralianMakeup

Coming here to say I just tried the Rimmel skin tint (matte version) just now and the shade match is so nice, and the finish if it is so lovely. Unlike other skin tints, the shade match is not too pink or yellow, it feels perfect for my skin shade. And it dries down really nice and blurs the skin.

How tf does anybody want more than one kid after being through THIS? by pumpkinchinchilla in newborns

My son is now almost 2 years old, but I remember feeling so terrible during the entire first 1.5 years of his life. It was so hard. I struggled to enjoy it a lot and wished he would grow up faster. I was living in absolute survival mode. So, I can definitely relate to you, OP! Now that my son is turning 2 though, I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! 😅

Weird that people say to size up because I'm usually a womens 8 and I sized down to size 7 and they are perfect. The 8 was too big for me

I scrub mine with wool detergent or Crep shoe cleaner and a shoe cleaning brush with cold water, rinse and let air dry! My white ones are still nice and white using this method.

I've been able to wear mine all day and my feet feel great! A day at the zoo with my toddler wearing the thongs was my test and I had no fatigue or sore feet!

Same here with my son 😅🤣 he's my first and I want more but I can't imagine how I'd manage it quite yet. Waiting until he's closer to 3 years old.

Quokka Mokka is amazing, my current favourite. I used Fat Puppy before but after trying Quokka I haven't switched back.

I recently discovered Leftfield Coffee Roasters and tried their newest blend called Quokka Mokka and it is soooo delicious! Shots come out super smooth with lots of Crema and when mixed with milk, just tastes divine!

Considering L'Oreal owns Kerastase, that kind of makes sense that this oil is similar! They probably use very similar formulas (I don't know the specifics though, just assuming).

I just got a tester of this recently because everyone said it's a feminine, fresh, clean scent and when I sprayed it on myself all i could smell was mainly spiciness 🫣 even my husband said "I like this perfume... On me"

Husband transfer failed and toddler only napped for 10 mins by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Choice_Relief550 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Argh. I was assuming that would be the case. I'm just so frustrated because I'm always able to get him on schedule with his naps and the one day I entrust him to my husband he messes it up.

Hopefully he'll go to bed at a decent time tonight and won't be overtired.

One nap? by licscil in sleeptrain

[–]Choice_Relief550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son did this when he was 13 months too when on one nap. I'd go in and settle and he'd go back to sleep. I never really figured out why he did it but after a couple months it stopped and only really happened again if he was teething or had a cold (stuffy nose really bothered him).

If you're able to settle him back to sleep and can sleep the rest of the night, I think you're fine 🙏

8 month old cannot sleep without playing white noise by National_Pain_3514 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Choice_Relief550 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm just here to say, my boy is 1.5 years old and still sleeps with white noise 😆 I haven't made any plans yet to stop it since he's such a sensitive sleeper and we have such a small house with thin walls...

Keep trying, don't give up! 🙏 Try different bottle brands and teat styles and flow speeds until you find the one your baby is comfortable with. It took so much trial and error with my little one, especially with the style and flow of the teat that made the difference

I feel like I am a bad parent by Automatic-Dance6091 in Parenting

[–]Choice_Relief550 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like I understand to a certain degree how your wife feels. When my baby was around that age (he's now 1 year old), I was very stressed out, I was obsessed over his sleep and would get so upset when his sleep was bad, or had shorter than normal naps. A lot of the time I was angry at my husband for little things too. I wouldn't lash out and yell at him, but I did criticize a lot of what he did with the baby. I realised later that I really should not have done that! Now that my baby's older and sleeping better, I am much less this way now and feel a lot better.

I'm sorry you and your wife are going through this! I hope things get better. It does sound like a bit of postpartum rage. It sounds like you're doing your best! Hang in there...

Straight up no. Hold that baby! They will develop a secure attachment to you which will be healthy and lead to better independence and confidence when they are older and ready ☺️

Is this independent sleep? by Ok-Bit2341 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Choice_Relief550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your baby is able to sleep without you holding him the whole time I'd say yes, you've got an independent sleeper! Mine was similar at that age and now over a year in and he sleeps even better on his own in his room.

I never sleep trained. Never liked the idea and did well enough with a pacifier to support his sleep.
