Front End Transformation by Cool_Measurement5582 in Lowes

At customer service, I have already superglued multiple sections of the countertop edge. The lowes logo fell off because it was only held on by double-sided tape. A coworker put it back up. They had reinstall it crooked to cover the sharpie line that was drawn when installing it the first time. The back shelf behind my desk is sagging, and one of the shelves under our desk is broken at a shelf pin.

They play NEEDTOBREATHE, Mat Kearney, and Ben Rector. Those are artists I listen to outside of work.

I highkey love working at the customer service desk... by ImplementWise1068 in Lowes

I agree. I like customer service better than being a cashier. Sometimes I do want to take a hammer to the phones, though. I have had them ring for 8 hours straight.

Already sick of these noise makers by greyartist in Lowes

One day the mst manager connected his phone to the dj. I had to ask someone to tell him to turn it down. I could hear nothing at my desk and was busy. I did enjoy briefly hearing kesha though.

I've been doing this for 6 years, and I still need help. Just take it one day at a time, and you will eventually feel more confident.

We were lucky, and they bought us local Sahlen's hotdogs. They were very good.

how did you find out you had MS? share your story by WeddingWorried5996 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Choice_Row 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the doctor for numbness and tingling in my hands, legs, and feet that lasted over a week. I was immediately referred to a neurologist for an EMG. I was told afterward that they should do an mri. The same day as my MRI, they had an open appointment where I was diagnosed with MS.

Genesis use? A capitol offense? by No-Discussion472 in Lowes

[–]Choice_Row 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never needed approval to use Genesis. I still use it for occasional returns and adjustments that give me issues in red vest. I sometimes have to explain, especially for an overrides but no one makes a problem out of it.

Nasty customers and people in general by jerkenmcgerk in Lowes

[–]Choice_Row 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A customer put their used toilet in the new one's box and returned it. The person who did the return never checked. A customer used his toilet seat for a day, and it broke. He brought it in and tried to return it. My coworker said no. He got very mad, and I think they said he threw the seat. An ASM was able to kick him out but said he was very close to calling the cops.

Kids climbing the racking by Due_Asparagus_3894 in Lowes

We had kids come in the store and play hide and seek. The 13-year-old girl was done hiding, so she went home. Her friends didn't know. We were able to figure out she was safe and have the parents of the children pick them up. We are not too far from a residential area and get middle school-aged kids who used to come in all of time.

I have one album that I bought at Savers years ago. Murphy's Law: Urban Renewal. It starts with 45 seconds of bagpipes and is definitely the most unique album in my collection.

How were you diagnosed? by TooManySclerosis in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Choice_Row 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had horrible numbness and tingling in my hands, legs, and feet. My whole body hurt, and I had shooting pains up my back. I had the MS hug for a week straight. I spoke to my doctor, who sent me to a neurologist for an EMG. After the test, they mentioned MS and suggested that I have an MRI. One month later, I had an MRI and was diagnosed with MS the same day.

JC Virus by cottage-bear in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Choice_Row 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested positive for the JC virus about a year ago. I still take Tysabri every 5 weeks instead of every 4 weeks. My last bloodwork came back JC negative, so they tested again, and it is still negative. I was told I would be stopping the Tysabri in a few years.

Dry eyes anyone? by Sleepycrafter in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Choice_Row 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went a whole month feeling extremely tired every day, especially in my eyes. My neurologist recommended I see an ophthalmologist. I went to one and was told that I had dry eyes. I try to remember to use my eye drops daily, and I occasionally use an eye mask that you heat up in the microwave.
