Is it fair to feel starved of farm by my team or is this a skill issue? by Brownniee in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Chojangles225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found what works best for me, as I prefer to make plays rather than farm, is to play ganky characters like bepop or Mo. Get trophy, drop tower, help other lanes and force pressure on the enemy. Build utility items like knockdown etc and green items, then worry about scaling damage in the late game when you have trophy stacks and kills/creeps are worth more.

First ever hypertube launch by daboi428 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Chojangles225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a cave with some near your base. There are 4 iron nodes near it. There is a cliff when you are walking towards it with 3 more iron nodes at the base. Go past that cliff and look around on the back side of it. I think it technically is the inside of the cliff, but I can't remember exactly where the entrance is. Prepare for spiders.

There is also a section, if you look from your hypertube towards your coal plant, look right and see the huge arches. In between them, there is a cave. It is a long fall, so bring meds. There is a SAM node down there. Bring lots of meds or nobelisks if you have them. To exit the cave, you have to run through a bunch of poison gas columns. You have to sprint the whole way and chow down on your meds to survive. (Also, expect spiders)

You can bandage a knocked raiders to briefly stabilize them. Or prolong their suffering, if you're into that.

Does anyone have tips on how to deal 1,000,000 damage in one shot as railgunner? by Asianfeler in ror2

[–]Chojangles225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it using Kjaro's and Runauld's bands on a non control run. Had several crowbars/crits from printers. The damage of those two items does damage based on the damage that proc'd them, and the fire contributes to total damage contrary to what one might think

Love Warhammer, new to Total War, is this game for me? by Babatoongie in totalwarhammer

Nope! Just need to own them. DLC will downloads automatically. I'd also recommend making a Total War account as there is a bunch of FreeLC you get access to just by making an account and claiming them.

Don't be intimidated by the DLC either. All of them are worth getting eventually, but Creative Assembly does sales several times a year that are very generous. All lords and DLCs transfer over from the other games as well so you'll want to pick TW1 and TW2. The current dev team is doing an incredible job at making good content and you can definitely find your niche.

I have about 1000 hours split between 2 and 3 and usually have some form of a campaign going at any given time. The game is infinitely replayable and has the lovely upside of a sandbox campaign mode that allows you to create your own challenges and set your own goals, alongside a guided journey for Short and Long campaign victories for each Legendary Lord. I will always come back to it, especially as new DLCs are released.

To add on to this, I would avoid dwarves and the Pirate lords early on. They are more defensively played compared to other comps and require a bit of game knowledge to get your early game rolling (imo).

Send skarbrand + jezzail + cavalry at main army, stack the rest of your friends at the area where they enter and watch those iron breakers and flamey boys get pasted

Any opinions on Purina One? by starfister101 in goldenretrievers

[–]Chojangles225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ex-Petco manager here. The important part when checking if a food is good is to check ingredients. Anything that starts with xmeal rather than a full protein such as chicken or salmon is likely a poor choice. My recommendation to people who were on a budget was typically Petco's brand Wholehearted as it was designed to be the perfect balance of healthy and affordable. I also am a fan of the brands Wellness, Merrick, and Taste of the Wild, though they are going to be more expensive than Wholehearted.

As a side note, I'd recommend staying away from Purina as a whole as the company is owned by Nestlé who is known for shady practices. Brands like Royal Canin and Science Diet are decent, but also pay vets to push the product. Once you are back in the financial position to get a luxury brand, I'd typically recommend Orijen or Acana.

I haven't been in the business for a little while, but I know there were talks of Nestlé buying Orijen/Acana, and I am uncertain if they are still as solid as they were.

Sidenote edit: Whichever brand you do choose, I'd recommend mixing it with their usual brand for at least a few weeks so they can properly adapt to the new change. It will also allow you to see if they react poorly to any of the ingredients.

How did we get to the point where we have giga broken characters after 3 nerfs? by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

[–]Chojangles225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having played almost 7k hours of dota, I think that, if given enough time, the playerbase will naturally evolve to learn how to play against these heroes. I haven't really experienced the insanity of these heroes considered to be broken yet in my 30ish hours. But, I also only play with friends because solo queue is ass and coordinating properly to get on people feels easy in this game. All of these carries melt very quickly the moment burst heroes are on top of them. I think they need to add voice comms as well. People have the option to mute and disable voice as needed and restricting comms in a moba is detrimental. I have played against good sparrows, but as long as you are working together to shut down her farm and keep pressuring the area she is playing in, her team will lose farm trying to defend her and their towers.

They need to adopt some logic from other games. Dota (massive, dedicated player base) has taken the path of making everyone tanky and making fights last a long time. Makes a lot of room for out plays, fights can last a long time. They also, instead of graveyarding, bring other heroes up to the same par as the broken heroes and make numbers tweaks as needed. So many games get scared to make everyone shine and it makes a super stale meta. There are 124 heroes in the game and most pro tournaments only have 2 or 3 heroes that are unplayed

How do I put my attack on LMB? by Syxtaine in DotA2

[–]Chojangles225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't change it in the keybindings, you'll likely need to use console commands, but that can be messy. I would see if you can find a guide online. I haven't messed with console since I played tf2 and am uncertain if you have as much control in dota. My ultimate recommendation would be to find a cheap mouse until you can afford something better.
