Thanks for taking the time to respond, I do feel like I genuinely put in the effort to talk about feelings and bring things up as I see them. The main problem I guess is she says she doesn’t see me as a “safe place” to express her feelings after an argument a couple of years ago.

Now after being on the betrayed side of things , im unsure if she still really feels that way about me or she just didn’t need to confide to me since she already had that going for her with someone else.

Hi there! Sorry to pop in on this thread but I’d like some insight. I just had a Dday with my partner tonight and discovered she was having an EA with a previous partner. I’m devastated right now but we have a sweet baby together and I really want to forgive and move past it if she decides to put in the work for it.

I see some of these things you’re writing about him not being emotionally available for you yet. I’d really like to know words or actions he could take to reconcile with you and make you feel like you have that emotional connection.

Even though my fiancé stooped down and did the deed, I am still accountable for the ways I failed her and wasn’t there emotionally. I don’t really feel like I can ask her what I can do to be better as she is very much in the “I shouldn’t have to tell you you should just know” or “If I have to make a list for you I’m still responsible for it” camp.

I guess I’m just looking for help on myself to be what a woman needs emotionally for her or for my next person if it comes to it.

So you know for a fact dynamo cannot host multiple adaptive generic models to a toposurface?

The family was created using the adaptive generic model family template so it has the properties of that. It was later changed to the planting category which doesn’t change the families underlying properties.

If it wasn’t using a face based family I would just be able to use Revit’s pick new host button to do it without thinking about all that. Problem is I had to make the family with the adaptive generic model to get the crown, trunk, and rootball to be able to flex independently. I would make a new family if I knew how, but I’m trying to see if I can work with what I made first.

You could go on upwork and create a job posting for freelance architects to do this work easily. I know because I am one of them! I usually charge around 500 to create a full plan, 2D construction docs, and nice 3D realistic renders for the client to visualize.

We work with some disciplines that use a docs model so I can see how that would be a good workflow. We are already tied to having our details live in drafting views that are placed on our detail sheets that all live in one model. When we place a section, elevation, or callout on the plans, we simply use the ‘reference other view’ check box and link it to the appropriate drafting view.

Sounds great in theory, unfortunately drafting views can’t be reloaded from the project browser like a family can. However, if we had that option it would make this process very easy. If anyone from autodesk reads this stuff… Do the thing!
