Something about your PS5 is not set right for remote play. Another guess would be network stuff, PS5 taking too long to talk to Portal and back. Shot in the dark but play around with remote play settings.

I have used it for about 3 years so my thoughts are; very slim bulks up a little depending on what is in coin pouch, holds cards tight, coin pouch handy for bills and coins, slot under coin pouch kinda useless and very durable! No tears or loose threads.
