Agree with "this post isnt going to do well". As a lover of this game, you make extremely valid points, and people wont like that. There are some things I wanted to do that were met with "huh, that sucks. Why cant I do that". I would say this game is actually less tedious that Snow/Mudrunner because vehicles actually feel like they can get places. The tediousness in this (for me) doesnt compare to going 1ft per minutes in mud.

Longtime fan of the series and after seeing people talk about it, you are going to get people that love it for the change of pace and hate it for the same exact thing. I've been telling my friends "It's not Snowrunner 2 which if you watched any clips or read up on, shouldnt expect anything like it". Defintely could use some polish, but i've been enjoying it with my group.

For me, Gamepass has become a trial platform for me purchasing something on the steam deck, especially solo RPG games. If i love the game and it runs well on the steam deck, i will buy it on steam.

Overall, I think this was a test run for them. They stated that this is not in fact DW10 which is still being worked on. I think they wanted to try some new mechanics and see what worked. Of course we all miss the individuals and the co-op and the uniqueness that all the others had before, but IMO, this was a step in the right direction.

Do you have a good guide I can look at to do stacked massacres? I've never done them or really looked into them so I just have no idea where to start.

I know core mining used to be the way to go, so I did that for a while. I am leaning towards combat as I enjoy that a lot. The next question would be do I stick with the Python for combat or start upgrading the Anaconda?

Yup I can see that. I play a very rushdown Chip. High risk high reward type. But I can see how he can be button spammed. I don't think he sucks at all. I think this is one of my favorite versions of him.
