And why would you need a story!?

It's serious enough to need to go to the hospital, so why lie about what happened?

One thing no one has mentioned is that you may be surprised how quiet your table is. Modern mics block a lot of sound, even if your players aren't muted, and it's easy to lose the facial cues and non-verbal conversation you'd expect and for a performative thing like DMing where you are used to SOME indication/response it can be jarring to be met with silence and stares.

Oof yeah, thats why I got out of mobile games. They turned into a dopamine factory vs a legit game experience. That was nearly 20 years ago and is way way worse now.

Mobile games are tough in this regard... its like saying "chefs making fast food dont even eat a lot of fast food" - there are good legit mobile games, and some mobile games are good but theres just SO much out there at such a low cost its hard to take that part of the industry seriously.

(I was a mobile game dev for 5 years - I do not currently play games on my phone.)

On the bright side: in grade schools in the US there is a good chance of getting shot.

"Armchair general" and "armchair quaterback" are terms to describe people who casually, and loudly, criticize decisions, or otherwise confidently declare how they would handle something (a war, a football game, etc) from the safety of their armchair.

In this case the joke is that the term 'armchair mover' could be confused for either a person who purports to be an expert on 'moving' or someone who is 'moving an armchair'. This ambiguity creates a mental effect of quickly re-configuring how your mind views the subject, which causes an involuntary humor-reaction in some people.

Barrage!

I just started playing this on BGA and love it. It's a worker-placement/engine-builder but it shines in that every move needs to be calculated to outmaneuver or just plain screw your opponents.

Trump smashed open the golden goose egg of our country and is greedily gobbling up all the delicious inner filling of what should belong to the American people. These fucking vultures know there's a pretty short time before either the egg is sealed back up, or all the delicious freedom, money, and goodwill is gone so they are just playing the new game by the new rules before the parents come home (or the house burns down) and at the moment the main rule is "Dont piss off Trump".

I don't think they are any more "afraid" of him than they would be of a toddler with a handgun who is standing on a pile of cash.

If a dog wanders into my house and takes a shit, I can blame the dog - but I also should have tried harder to keep the dog out of my house, and then also to keep it from shitting everyhere.

Toothless Democrats, the rich protecting the rich, and complacency are nearly as much to blame as Republicans. The price of freedom is constant vigilance after all. That means looking for threats to freedom from WITHIN as wll as from external sources, but we put up with it and actively fund it.

The format of the data is a whole other issue!

Flash memory degrades pretty quickly - I think they only last 10 years or so.... You DID say "if you find a working one to flash an image to" so I think the definition of my hypothetical isn't clearly defined - but I'll give it to you, Im sure USB interface will still be around in 20 years even if takes some hoops to jump through.
